I wish Shuki would talk in depth about his work on He Man and She ra. The music from both series is iconic and it's a shame that it's never been discussed in interviews.
Wish I could interview the guy. There are so many questions I have for him. That would be one of them but I would also want to know more about the music he did for other countries. He recorded many theme songs for countries in middle and south America along with countries in Europe such as Italy. Some of those songs are amazing but they are almost NEVER discussed. He briefly talks about the HeMan and SheRa series in the french interview I have uploaded here.
You should listen to this interview with him that is also on my channel: ruclips.net/video/M4huY1mj5bQ/видео.html I think he said it best, "It needs to be different and needs to be organic". But on top of that, he needed a new style in which his music would stand out. Synth was really becoming big in the later 70s and early 80s and then you had the New Wave movement with The New Romantics age which was really popular at the time and was something that wasn't DISCO but needed something with a catchy beat but based the melody and accompaniment on heavy synth and/or orchestral music to give it a unique flare.
This is fantastic...... gonna listen to all the Shuki interviews
Awesome
superb interview!!!!
Thanks. Yeah this a great interview. I really like the one he did with the Generique TV show which I have also uploaded here.

Always wondered what synths he used for he man, shame they didn't ask about the production process
absolutely. I wonder if an Emulator used for some of the strings, flutes etc
I also wonder how he wentfrom avivas style which is like gypsy international organic music to a completely different synthetic style!
