Sitting at home in Victoria tonight pulling out some old vinyl to listen to. Had to play some Trooper, then ended up here watching this. There’s really something special about Frank’s songs that just resonated with me as a kid growing up in Saskatoon. Every time I hear The Moment Tnat It Takes and Round Round We Go I just freeze and my thoughts drift back in time. Incredible really. Thank you so much.👍🏼
and thank you..btw..my latest songs/videos are on my site; frankludwig.ca let me know what you think...we just added a comment module...I noticed your comment come in as I'm in studio working on a new video for a song called Out to Pasture...contains some Trooper footage as well as Body Electric and sort of pokes fun at moderate fame followed by obscurity...cheers
@@frankludwig314 Thanks for responding Frank. I’ll definitely check out your site guaranteed. Moderate fame followed by obscurity. That’s a very relevant issue I would guess especially being in the music biz. Reminds me of an interview I saw with Gord Downie years ago after The Tragically Hip peaked and then struggled to maintain their popularity in the early 2000’s He was mentioning how one moment you’re considered the new bright shining light and the next moment you’re old hat put out to pasture. Really made me realize how difficult it must be to maintain that gift once it’s been bestowed upon a group or a person. Peace Frank👉🏻👍🏼🇨🇦 ps.I still break out the Iron Horse vinyl from time to time. Cheers!
@@billydow9798 not like most jobs where at least before Covid-19 there was seniority and recognition of skills. I think you'll like the lyrics which include "now you've fallen on your sabre, you're not the latest flavour, you didn't stop to savour what you had" & "should we fetch the baby sitter, should we call in someone fitter, should we put you out to pasture to graze?"
@@frankludwig314 I was also just watching a video of I think it was a podcast/ interview with you from a while back. You were discussing how you maybe took for granted the fame and the notoriety you had at one time when your songs were topping the charts and you were touring with BTO in the states. All of a sudden you had these hit songs and albums and your playing in front of 20,000 people. It must have seemed very unreal at the time and perhaps maybe you didn’t realize how fleeting it would be? I think you made the right choice though in choosing a career as a teacher and being a family man. I’m pretty sure there are multitudes of musicians who gave this up in order to pursue a career and then regretted not having that wife, or family.
@@frankludwig314 I Been Consumed I’ve already listened to. Really great lyrics Frank and love the groove of the song.Excellent keys. A nice throwback in musical style but lyrics for modern times.
Trooper is the EPTIMOTE of what MUSIC'S all about (regardless of their Canadian Heritage). W/that said, their Canadian Heritage makes 'em MUCH BETTER!!!!! Let's "Raise A Little Hell" bc "We're Here For A Good Time (Not A Long Time". While we r @ it, gotta dump women who r a "3 Dressed Up A 9" bc they r only WASTIN' MY TIME!!!!!
although that was friend/promotor/videographer's intention, apparently Ra & Brian prefer not to have it released...not sure why...I still hope to get a few more bits & pieces up on RUclips but don't have access at this point...thanks for your interest
And in the moment that it takes To come between us Time lifts a hand to wave good-bye And in the moment that it takes To realize just what we had That's the moment that it takes To pass us by... Well I'm dying to see you so I hope you're not playing too far away~
What a voice. What a song. What memories. Thank you 🙏🏻.
thank you!
GREATEST music to come out of Canada. No one will ever come close
thanks for your kind, supportive comment

I Love Trooper . 😍 🍁. Canadian Pride !!.
And in the moment that it takes
To come between us
Time lifts a hand to wave good-bye
And in the moment that it takes
To realize just what we had
That's the moment that it takes
To pass us by...
Well I'm dying to see you so I hope you're not playing too far away~
Will this concert be released on dvd?
