I adore this scent. Shalimar and Must de Cartier are the two vintage scents that I absolutely adore and are compliment getters on my skin.

This is the perfume my mother and grandmother have always worn, and ever since I was little I remember being in love with it. It just smells so refined yet sensual, and it's now my perfume of choice 🙂

I'll tell you one thing, a few years ago I was desperately looking for this perfume, especially the eau de toilette version. I bought it at a ridiculous price, used it in the winter and haven't used it in over two years since. Your video made me take it out of the closet and use it again. Indeed amazing and your descriptions are also accurate about the type of women it is suitable for. I subscribed to your channel.
I love Cartier and have always thought they were quite underrepresented and underrated. It's been a while since I smelled Must, and now it's a must, after your lovely review. While I am waiting for Must, however, I can always enjoy a bit of La Panthere which is safely nestled in my collection and is highly revered just the same.
I just bought this eau de toilette im London. It is divine, I am tempted to get the eau de perfume as well, I remembered this introduction of yours and I immediately bought it. I hope you will come back on youtube

Great review. I recently discovered this mysterious perfume. I blind bought a big bottle and I love it so much I bought another older 100 mill bottle and it's even better, deeper and more musky. I feel Calvin Klein was inspired by this fragrance when he created Obsession. Must layers very well with Obsession. It's a beast, I love it, so sensual and musky, it's like a warm hug. No one really talks about this perfume. I would love a vintage eau de parfum.

I have never heard such an elegant and ravishing description of a parfume. I enjoyed that you also included history about the house. I was worried that I may smell "antique" if I purchase this scent, but you've sold me!

@Flo's Nose finally got it. I found Must de Cartier Gold, edp. It is beautiful, and it surprisingly reminds me of a fragrance my dad used to wear when I was a little girl; it may be this! It is smoky, spicy, and warm with a bit of sweetness. On fabric, it is very green, but on my skin, it's sweet - I prefer it on my skin. I could see myself wearing a spray of this to the office to head a business meeting. It is a very serious vintage fragrance to me that is not for every day or every outfit, but it is beautiful. Your outfit and hairstyle in the video embody this fragrance in a modern way. The only downside is the juice stains light fabrics. I sprayed it on tester fabric, and it left a light brown mark.
The use of thyme (thymol) was not mentioned in the composition. I find it very noticeable. I don't particularly care for it but aside from this, I have loved this juice since the 80's when it first came into being. I own the original gold-plated bottle. The newer versions don't compare to it.
This is the parfume I always use love this fragrance. Your review is so classy very elegant on the description of this perfume never heard something better, thanks.

T.his is my absolute nr 1 scent... For 30 years now
It used to remind me of Obsession but I think it has more depth, way more sensual.
I've always wondered about this particular brand, but did not get down to looking into it. But now, thanks to you, I think I'm fairly in the know 😃 👌 #cartier

I just bought a bottle same look as yours with gold cap but I realize it's the 2015 reofrmulated version and alot of people don't like it :( I ordered it online ..do u think it smells like the original.?

Has the formulation changed in the past few years? I still have the old bottles and a tiny sample sized of the perfume which still smells amazing. Then somehow the batch about 5 years ago just didn't smell the same. I am going to try the newer release. Thank you for a great review
Hi! Although I have no official information, I imagine that the formulation has invariably changed, given all the new restrictions imposed on brands these days... I also remember the formulation being a little more contrasted. But as it stands I think this fragrance has been modified with a lot of respect for the original and I still enjoy it very much (I wish I could say this about more vintage fragrances!).
This is my favourite as well. This one and chanel no.5

What is the closest smelling 'other' option perfume for this scent??? I ask because it's discontinued & whatever i do find only is mostly used. I love this scent & i want to find something close to it, if possible.
