Like many folks I been watching Bob for years, walking yards & whatnot looking for and reporting on different subjects. He always brings a bit of nostalgia & wonder to mind !
I remember my dad talking about these trucks when I was very young but I didn’t know they were made in Texas. I’m sure my dad told me that but I was too young. I remember him saying that they had some in their fire department.
Must have knocked some dust off a shelve. Cause this video is almost antique as well. 🤔 Those guys were pretty old back then. So, now I wonder if those dreams were ever realized and a museum was established.
When I was in Automotive School{Back in ancient Times,Early 60's}, I helped my teacher Restore a 1923 Henderson Motorcycle, and Maintain his 1932 Cleveland. Both were inline 4 cylinder Bikes, and Purred like a Kitten..🏍👍😀.... That Original Wichita Truck should be in the Texas Museum, Not hidden in the old Factory. How many Original Vehicles were made in Texas?🤔

Thanks for sharing this video we've never heard of Wichita truck either!
I'm 52. I've been watching this show since I was a little girl. The host hasn't really aged at all. Still a great show
I agree with you except I’ve watched it from the beginning. Bob is like Dick Clark and William Shatner.👍👍♥️🙏✝️
Wasn't the show called 8 country(?) reporter or something like that back in the day?
@@trumpeteer4792 sounds right to me
@ladybug4207 nope. I had a moment of clarity. It was 4-country reporter. Then it moved ro wfaa channel 8. That's when the name changed.
@@trumpeteer4792 that sounds even righter..lol
The Chadwell brothers are renaissance men even though they might not look like it. They are excellent machinist and have traveled the world.
I’m born and raised in WF. I knew of Wichita Trucks but didn’t realize there were still some around!
I've lived in Texas my whole life and I have never heard of a Wichita truck that is awesome
Very interesting!
There is one at the entrance to Eagle Mountain Park in North Fort Worth.
Pretty cool. I know where a 1926 model is sitting. Has a tag on it says oilfield special. Was built as factory winch truck.
