I always used a coat hanger for extra length for my ceiling fans while hooking them up. I guess I don't like small spaces. I used extra electrical wire but that never bothered me. We had a master bedroom made from two rooms. I put two ceiling fans in it. It was ready made for an Alberto VO5 commercial!😂
You made me laugh when you said you've "just been taking it easy." My idea of taking it easy is watching Hulu. Your idea is installing cabinets. 😂 I absolutely love the fan! The ceiling throughout the house is looking so nice. And the cabinets are a great addition. The kitchen design is really starting to come together. Well done!
Thank ya thank ya! Ha! I suppose I just meant I've been taking it easy on the house projects as I have indeed been pretty busy in general. As far as the cabinets, they are just sitting there and not properly installed yet. Trying to figure out if I need to finish the drywall behind them or not before I anchor and level them.
Possible to put a light above the bathroom mirror or medicine cabinet instead of on the wall because the wiring was not done prior? Just a thought.. Great job i live in an 1857 reno for almost 3 years so I get it as I create new apartments to rent out within the property. It's fun to live in our projects with lathe, plaster, no molding and projects about in the midst of dust...LOL Cheers.
I hear you about the lights above but I'm going to have two lights in the ceiling on one switch so I'd like to have one just above the mirror on its own switch. I suppose if I find the right fixture I could put it in the ceiling. Enjoy your projects! Thanks!

I like that light fixture! I cannot sleep without the sound of a fan, and I have to be cold to sleep.
I hear you there! I don't need to have white noise but it sometimes does help me. I do however love it to be cool in my room to sleep well.
