SONS OF TEXAS!! LISTEN TO BLAMESHIFT!! Damn every single person in the crowd was in shock. I thought the simger was going to die on stage. Those dudes can play!!
A band called Orua. Incredible Brazilian band that opened for Built to Spill. Hung out with them outside the tour bus for a while after the show as well. Super nice guys
Trust Company. They opened for Disturbed I never heard of them and I rarely like opening bands especially when I never heard of them but they were awesome I bought their CD at the show
Dimmu Borgir. I had heard the name and had seen the t shirts and they were on the Ozzfest tour in 2004. They had probably the worst time slot of the day, but I wanted to see what they were all about. I'm glad I did. They were incredible! This was their tour for Death Cult Armageddon and I became a fan that day. I bought the album the next day and shortly after, I had all of their albums. The only bad thing was that they were playing around 4 in the afternoon and it was almost 100 degrees outside. There weren't very many people watching them. I think it was because of the heat, but they missed out. They had the substance to back up their outrageous look, unlike some other bands who look menacing and evil, only to sing pop music. 👻
I saw thank you scientist open up for protest the hero. They were like prog with saxophone trumpets and violin. Guitarist could shred and amazing vocals. If you check them out listen to "my famed disappearing act" *chefs kiss*
I appreciate this comment. Giving me a specific song to check out makes it easier. I must say I was impressed. The vocals will take some getting used to. I’ve learned to like vocals like Claudio from Coheed or Anthony from Circa Survive, but it takes some listening for me to come around. There’s a fine line between that and nasally emo that I can’t stand. Music was 10/10 though
@@thetattedbaldguy hey I like emo lol. But by emo I mean the good shit. Not all American rejects or something. I'm canadian and I went to an outdoor festival. I don't think it's that bad with them but pretty similar to Coheed and Cambria which is an aquired tasted vocally. When ever I see a picture of that guy I'm flabbergasted that it's him singing.
Spite, I had never heard a single song, never even heard their name. Hung around for their set at Sonic Temple this year and was blown away. They put on one of the best shows of every band that weekend.
Dude hell yea! I went with a friend last year and slits was an opener. I left with a basketball jersey and downloaded all their stuff when I got back home! If you like Spite, ever hear of the band Mouth For War? If not, you’ll love them
Lorna shore, I had heard of them, but I never listened to them until I saw them open for gojira and mastodon. I thought that Will Ramos had a great stage presence and that they had some great melodic elements. Now I love Lorna shore
Modou moctar. I was working the music venue and when they started playing I was blown away. I guess this is kind of cheating because there were almost always bands I'd never heard of playing there.
Subscribing to this channel will be the best idea you’ve had in the last 37 seconds. 🤘🏻

Floater, Death Set, American Sharks, and King Ghidora. I never heard of these bands before seeing them in concert.
