I use the gopro and the Aqua Vu for the underwater footage. While the gopro puts out a better image, the Aqua Vu has the benefit of a live feed to see what is happening in real time. This helped us locate so many trout, it's literally unbelievable.

I think a lot of focus on survival channels is on developing skills to help you survive the zombie apocolypse. What I think the Beardsman also does is shows you that it's fun. Trying out gear, fishing, shoreside lunch etc. Does't that look like fun?

There is nothing like the taste of maple syrup. It's so good. I love a good maple sugar lump, but I can't find that anymore. I guess it takes too many gallons of maple sap and it's not worth the time, or trouble to make it.
If you make sugar, you can actually turn it back into syrup!
I'd rather the sugar, though. My dad used to bring me big lumps of maple sugar when he would go to conventions in upper New York state, so that's a special memory for me. My mouth is watering..... :D
