- Both Electrocute and Dark Harvest got changed this patch, making dark harvest more late game focused and electrocute, early game. This video is my first game with the new dark harvest on Kha'Zix. Is it still good?

How you guys finding the dark harvest changes?
They nerfed a rune that was already trash.
its only a buff if you get 1 soul per level (which doesnt happen often at all)
I'm playing HoB based off your idea,
And I thought "shaco likes it, he goes stealth, so does k6, so why not play HoB on Kha'zix as well?" 🤔 💭
Been having better success with HoB than DH lately, maybe placebo.😊

@@dylanhelvetios2300 Yeah but in general shaco is a AD auto attacker, he isn't an AD caster like Kha'zix
But try HoB on k6 if you haven't already, worth the try

As someone who played a bunch of TCG for years.
Dark Harvest is quite literally what we'll call a "win more" card.
It's basicaly a rune that will only help you when you already "won" the game.
Yeah, it's a snowbally rune for smurfs.
the problem with that logic is TCGs are generally 1v1, so winning more is pointless. In league where you have teammates that are deadweight there are times where you being able to win more will make the difference in dragging your team across the finish. In past seasons id say its just for smurfs but matchmaking quality is so bad now having a rune that helps you 1v5 is actually nice.
@@sohtnax7809yep, competely pointless in high elo where most the time people have more than 1 braincell. Riot reworked the rune into a smurf detector

wtf r u talking u have no clue. its a assasin who relys on burst dmg. what shall he take? First strike in soloQ where every gae is decided in 15 minutes?
Not seeing the math at the top- 15 souls at max level breaks even. 15*9=135+20=155. 15*5=75+80= 155. So any game in which you can get 16+ souls, the rune is better than it used to be. :) @Tinjus

Hey there @Tinjus I just started to pick up Kha as my jungle champion. I like the champion a lot, and does some insane burst. You put out a guide around two years ago on Khazix, I was wondering if that guide would be still up to date? I know the items in the video are a little out dated.

by the time you start seeing a benefit from dh tho around 25mins with 16+ stacks most of games are already decided, so I'd call it basically a hard nerf

From roughly lv 8 onward if you have have at least 1 more stack than your lv (eg. lv 12 with 13 stacks) harvest does about the same damage as electrocute. Basically it's a buff if you get stacks and a big nerf if you don't, the rune is now more volatile.
Yes, but u can proc electrocute on only one target, but dark harvest u can proc on multiple targets if one target dies.
Hey Kaido, any advice on playing against champs like nocturne, trundle or tryndamiere as kha?
Against trynda, evolve r and just e away when he ults. Trundle, unless ur fed early u dont beat him. Just focus on ganking and other enemies. You beat nocturne at 6 provided you get the jump on him. Try predicting where he will gank and do something to punish that
They mentioned it before. If you get 1 stack per level then it's a buff, after 15 stacks it's just straight up damage and cooldown buff

Man that shud have been a triple jump at the end to finish the game but sad. DH changes feel good u want to get more stacks anyways so a late game buff is good.

x is dark harvest stacks and even point has the formulae equal so-
9x+20=5x+80
9x=5x+60
4x=60
x=15
any dark harvest stacks past 15 is buffed from before. 15 is even.

you gotta take in consideration the cooldown being reduced too.
gets better after 15 stacks, but you can proc it more often.

DH ~ Sudden Impact - Eyeball - Ultimate Hunter - Magical Footwear - Cosmic Insight (Jack of All Trades mixup for more Assassin-Bruiser builds) ?
I've been running this ever since this season started and the Gold I save from Magical Footwear allows me to get Rectrix quicker early game. Besides that, Magical Footwear gives +10 Movement Speed so I make up for not having Relentless, plus the early Rectrix will give me even more % movement speed. This allows me to buy Youmuu's ASAP and I make up even more movement speed early. Only thing is that my MS might fall of later on, but that's why I run Blue Pet. Ultimate Hunter because I like making FoW plays and sometimes the enemy see's it coming, this way I can reset my R quicker if a fight is bound to happen.
I noticed you mentioned at 8:00 that Kha was never good at punishing early game, but isn't that wrong? When Kha'Zix first came out his best evolution to start with was R because it gave you Perma-Map tempo by going invisible in EVERY single bush you stepped into as if you activated R, so he would gank every single lane and only fall off by 2 camps. Am I wrong ? 🤔
Kennen Kha is unironically good combo. Everyone stays together because of Kha, and if they iso Kha can punish

can you do more live commentaries, the voice overs are nice sometimes but live is much more entertaining
You need 19 stacks at lvl18 to have equal dmg as electrocute. With the stronger early game power, for me this means dark harvest is only better if u r way ahead, and if one target dies so you can proc it on more of the targets.. this is definitely a nerf for me, cuz the rune don't really help you get those kills anymore, and you are just suiciding for stacks sometimes, so it's even worse XD Electrocute is just more consistent. Not to mention your early-mid game is your weak point.
the break-even point for dark harvest is 19 stacks provided by virkayuu

this is at the break even point so it should be 15 stacks max to be even, or less stacks (depending on level)

By going back in 2018
Early game w 15 stacks => 20 + 15*5 = 95
late game w 15 stacks => 80 + 15*5 = 155
New version w 15 stacks => 20 + 15*9 = 155
It means w new version you are like old version late game at 15 stacks... from that point on, the rune is just better...
AND if you get 15 stacks early the rune is a LOT better

7:00 When I played on my college team (their jungler quit), I was much less experienced & one thing they told me, to get me in a better state of focus, was not to gank until all my camps were on cd.
Like those Dh Changes, makes Kha feel even better late Game . Now they only have to buff Kha's Secret best Rune Hob or give us sanguine Blade back. Man why does No lethality item give Attack Speed.
He doesn't benefit from better lategame. He is already strong in the late game. Early game is his weakest part of the game which means that nerfing dh early game hurts kha quite a bit
