That color is on point😁❤❤...fyi the bleach breaks your hair down just like a relaxer does...that's why you're losing your curl pattern...platinum is the last point you can go to when lifting hair color...after platinum comes what they call "FRIED"

You are rocking this platinum hair! I want a wig this color with like black root omg! But you gave awesome tips! I really love ion products. I usually use their dyes. Coconut oil is bae for my hair! And as far as your hair texture change, you hair would not be considered natural because any chemical process on the hair changes it. So even just bleaching your hair is changing the chemical make up of it! But you take such great care of your hair it doesn’t even matter 😍💜
I bleached my hair testing to get to white or silver.. After 1st bleach session I got nervous. It lifted without burn or breakage but I washed with the purple stuff and it got a little orange-ish. The next day I did the T18 and the purple again and it was so light like a lemon ice with platinum tips! So pretty, I stopped there. Maybe next time I'll go for it. Awesome tips, thank you. I have “hair grease” on the length of mine. Would that be too heavy before bleaching? You can’t tell by my pic but my hair is a solid 3c just straightened out. 6 month no relaxer, but I’m approaching 50 and starting to go grey. Figured going blonde would be best as my grey grows out.

Danielle Davis Sally’s sell a color removing product called Color Oops. You can use that first to strip the hair of that red color, then bleach it afterwards
I lifted my hair and then put platinum adore semi permanent dye on it and it's a blue. How do I get it to to the color you have which is what I am trying to achieve. Please help ASAP.
Marlene David Hall you’ll need to do a bleach bath to remove the blue cast from your hair. In a bowl, mix about 1/2 cup of shampoo, with about a tablespoon of hair bleach and a teaspoonful of developer. Apply to hair and leave in for about 5-8 minutes or until the blue fades.
Marlene David Hall 20 developer should be fine. Any shampoo that’s white will do. Deep condition your hair afterwards since bleach is harsh on the hair.

If u want your hair more white, dilute your purple shampoo in white conditioner. If u want it more gray, use it full strength and leave it on for a few minutes
Okay so I washed that Ulta violet And conditioner out and now it’s like a light silvery blonde... I really don’t want to bleach it again 🙄 but in order to get yours would I have to bleach it again, then do your shimmer vodoo method ?
Chasity Patrice you may have to bleach again but use 10 volume developer because it sounds like it’s almost there. Or just use the purple shampoo without the voodoo blue
I saw this to late!! So I used my regular 20 and left it on for about 3 mins.. it went right back to the “banana” color so now I’m thinking I’m gonna have to go get the T18, and try to use a silver color on top of it,

After you do your first ORIGINAL toner and it turns a bit grey silver, how many times do you think you wash it before it turns that white silver? And what are you washing it with? Maya Pruett Hi Maya 👋🏽 1. After my hair turn the grey silver color, it faded to white after about 4 washes. If u want to fade it quicker then use Head & Shoulders shampoo or do a bleach bath 2. I pretty much stick with my Ion Intense Moisture conditioner unless I notice a bit of damage to my hair from bleaching, then I’ll use the 180 Pro Miracle Repair conditioner 3. I got my idea for the toner by using the color wheel. Whatever hair color you have, use the wheel to see what’s opposite that color and it will cancel out that tone/color. Example: if you have more yellow tones in your hair then the opposite of yellow on the wheel is purple so anything purple will cancel out the yellow.
I will explain it. Any time you alter your hair's configuration, with chemicals, the hair shaft is full of holes like Swiss cheese. You must "fill" those holes with neutralizing agents, such as a park's neutralizer, or toner/deposit color to fill those holes, thereby, closing the hair shaft. Never go to a hair stylist that has not had a chemistry course to certify as a chemical hair stylist. They must have that knowledge to perform perms & bleaching.
I dont use purple/brass out poo any more. Too damaging. Yor trying to keep moisture in porous hair. That sucks it out. So your doing a ying/yang of dry then trying to re-moisturize. I use a purple conditioner bold unique from Amazon. Leaves yor hair extremly silky and it works better than blue/purple poo. Not drying, no more ying/yang. l nightly do LOC/LCO treatments before scarf satin/bonnet bed. If u can't do too much protein, use protein condit 1-2x a week instead. Maybe 3.Thats less protein. Dont use the aphogee 2 step. Thats for extreme breaksge. Never brush hair when feeling dry/brittle. Never ever ever let your hair feel dry. Immediately dampen with water,, leave in condit/oil to lock in moisture 1st, then brush/comb. If hair feels like Sahara, its too late your breaking it. Always keep moisturizing it. Dont let it get to the dry stage, thats when breakage is greatest
New Subbie here! Do you blow out before cutting? My hair has really tight corkscrews, zigzags and round curls. Why do you only use Ion Absolute Perfection Booster step 1? & Should I just buy the kit and do both steps? PS-those eyes are gorgeous, contacts or not (care to share any secrets, if they are contacts).
Sharon White thanks for subbing! No I don’t blowout my hair before cutting. My hair was straightened when I began the bleaching process because of a hairstyle I had prior to cutting it. I use the Absolute Perfection Booster because it saves my hair from damage and it’s easily accessible at my Sally’s store. You can buy Olaplex from amazon also. You can get the kit if u want. Step 2 is the Color Sealer which helps strengthen the bonds in your hair that the bleach breaks down during the bleaching process.
Susie Clearwater it’s possible. Put a lot of coconut oil on your hair and leave it in overnight. Start with a 30vol developer and bleach it, but don’t bleach the roots, do that part last. You may have to bleach a few times depending on how dark your hair is.

3. I got my idea for the toner by using the color wheel. Whatever hair color you have, use the wheel to see what’s opposite that color and it will cancel out that tone/color.
Example: if you have more yellow tones in your hair then the opposite of yellow on the wheel is purple so anything purple will cancel out the yellow.

I will explain it. Any time you alter your hair's configuration, with chemicals, the hair shaft is full of holes like Swiss cheese. You must "fill" those holes with neutralizing agents, such as a park's neutralizer, or toner/deposit color to fill those holes, thereby, closing the hair shaft. Never go to a hair stylist that has not had a chemistry course to certify as a chemical hair stylist. They must have that knowledge to perform perms & bleaching.

I dont use purple/brass out poo any more. Too damaging. Yor trying to keep moisture in porous hair. That sucks it out. So your doing a ying/yang of dry then trying to re-moisturize. I use a purple conditioner bold unique from Amazon. Leaves yor hair extremly silky and it works better than blue/purple poo. Not drying, no more ying/yang. l nightly do LOC/LCO treatments before scarf satin/bonnet bed. If u can't do too much protein, use protein condit 1-2x a week instead. Maybe 3.Thats less protein. Dont use the aphogee 2 step. Thats for extreme breaksge. Never brush hair when feeling dry/brittle. Never ever ever let your hair feel dry. Immediately dampen with water,, leave in condit/oil to lock in moisture 1st, then brush/comb. If hair feels like Sahara, its too late your breaking it. Always keep moisturizing it. Dont let it get to the dry stage, thats when breakage is greatest

No I don’t blowout my hair before cutting. My hair was straightened when I began the bleaching process because of a hairstyle I had prior to cutting it.
I use the Absolute Perfection Booster because it saves my hair from damage and it’s easily accessible at my Sally’s store. You can buy Olaplex from amazon also. You can get the kit if u want. Step 2 is the Color Sealer which helps strengthen the bonds in your hair that the bleach breaks down during the bleaching process.
My hair is long, how can I do this without killing my hair. I want to go grey, but can't wait 3 plus years to do it naturally.
Susie Clearwater it’s possible. Put a lot of coconut oil on your hair and leave it in overnight. Start with a 30vol developer and bleach it, but don’t bleach the roots, do that part last.
You may have to bleach a few times depending on how dark your hair is.
