SO, with this in mind I set out to distill my 6 plus years of knowledge from travelling and living in Copenhagen into a list of the 7 spots (Bakeries) I generally frequent to satisfy my sweet tooth.

There used to be small local bakeries spread out all over Copenhagen and all other cities in Denmark. Today, bakery chains like Lagkagehuset have appeared all over the place.
A lot of the small bakeries I remember from my childhood have closed down mostly because of economy. It is not an easy thing to run a bakery. The work times are odd to say the least and the work can be very hard so there are actually not that many bakeries around as there were 50 years ago.
