- We went on the hunt for the legit best diner breakfast experience in Corpus Christi Texas - and we found it at Price's Chef Restaurant! Famous for their Texas-shaped waffle, we read reviews online and decided we had to check it out.
We enjoyed our experience so much that we wanted to recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for a great breakfast restaurant in Corpus Christi.
Family owned and operated, we got to meet one of the current family owners. Everyone there was so friendly, and the atmosphere was classic American diner. But even without all that, the food was fantastic. And we're ALL about breakfast - it's our thing.

GOOD GRIEF. After having largely grown up in Corpus I left for good in the late 70s. Price's Chef was a late night fixture for partiers even then, and I'm amazed it survives to this day. It wasn't only for the party circuit crowd, breakfast, lunch and dinner each having their own crowd. Very cool that it still operates. Whoda thunk?
Still going strong, and seems to have held onto a lot of its original charm. We really enjoyed it.
