  • Yes! Size matters when it comes to keeping your bison fenced in!
We have a small herd here in Minnesota but we have to make sure our fences are in good repair. We don't want these guys getting out and showing up at the neighbor's house!

Thanks for the video, we are also new to raising bison. My 2 cents, we are moving away from barbed wire, they will split the wires and push through. We are slowly but surely moving to the mesh fencing.with a line of barbed wire at the top and bottom. It ends up about 5.5 feet. Thanks for the videos, we'll keep watching

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, we are leaning toward mesh, too. I've been told it helps too when you start having calves, they don't get out nearly as much and then you don't have an upset mama trying to get out too! Lol.
Thanks for watching! We will be adding more videos soon. Share with your friends! Lol.

I am so glad you are doing the double gate it is so much safer. I realize it costs more but if reinsurers your neighbors and friends that you're considering their safety they will stay your friends. Good fences make good neighbors.😂
