The Captures add a lot of variety to how the game is played, much like Kirby's Copy Abilities, and most so like the Ghost Ability concept wise. That's what makes this game great IMO.

Yeah, and also add in that it's a free roam game. Mario odyssey is my favourite game tied with super Mario maker.... Wow I like Mario a lot.

Moon tip: when in playing as the Binoculars in the Cascade Kingdom, look around above you in the sky. The Sphynx is floating on a air-type raft, and looking at him for about 3 seconds triggers a moon to appear near the Odyssey. Your welcome

For some reason, the title reminds me of fantastic beasts and where to find them.
The fact we can find a rabbit running around in the grass maze in the Mushroom Kingdom is a direct reference to Super Mario 64 DS. I'm so happy that I finally managed to spot an undeniably direct reference to the DS version. I mean, there's the fact you can capture Yoshi, but given it's possible to capture ANYTHING in this game, I don't know if I would want to call it a reference. I thought for sure they were only gonna directly reference the N64 version, but I guess fans of both get to have something in the end, and it's all I need to be happy, even if the N64 fans got more in the end.
A: yoshi is on the castle (reference) and you can capture him. Also, the whole mushroom kingdom is a reference and you can buy, with the regional coins, a SM64 suit.

I'm most excited to play this game for myself, I need to possess that T-Rex, it is now my life's mission to play as a T-Rex with a red hat and mustache.
Don't bother, to me the T-Rex looks stupid and you can't even destroy anything.
I don't know what your talking about, there are plenty of things to destroy and how does it look stupid, doesn't look that different from too many other T-Rex's in cartoons, I could give you 10 that look way worse.

The Poison Piranha Plant can be captured earlier when it makes its first appearance in the Wooded Kingdom, so there is no need to capture one after entering a Moon pipe (available post-game after breaking the kingdom's Moon Rock) as depicted in the video. It seems that RUclipsrs are not aware of this in their capture videos. So it is possible to capture all 52 creatures and objects before finishing the game.
Actually, Yoshi is after completing the game. You could try the Mushroom Kingdom impossible jump from Yoshi's House, if it's even possible. If it is, Yoshi might not even spawn up there.

While the RC Car is in the Capture List, Mario actually uses Cappy to "capture" the New Donker who is using a remote control to operate that car.
