I feel like I jinxed the Pistons. This was the first Summer League game I decided to watch live. We were down by about 30 points in the third quarter, so I stopped watching. When I checked the score later, I saw that the Pistons had fought back in the fourth quarter and only lost by one point. We might have won if I hadn’t tuned in. 😢
I was hoping the Pistons would not have to mount another comeback from double-digits. Great comeback, too bad Sasser missed the winner.
Pistons can take some positives away from the 4 games, maybe learned some things about players. Sasser can be an offensive spark off the bench. Role of a Lou Williams. Klintman can be a jack of all trades type player. Holland is good in transition, getting to the basket. Get him more minutes before putting him in a position to be a decision maker/ ball-handler. More positives heading into training camp🤷🏾♂️
This year's Summer League is just not important. That guys show up, find their lockers and don't spit up on the carpet is about all you can hope for. Ron Holland should have learned one lesson from this game. You can't just shoot in the face of most NBA wings and big men when you are underneath. Ron got nicely stuffed a couple times.
Trade Sasser, Holland, Stewart, Thompson.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Sasser has no trade value and the other three are the ones they should keep.
@@PistonsTalk Sasser is maybe a back up at best. Holland and Thompson can't shoot and it's not gonna get much better. Stewart is to short to be a legit 5, can't drive to the hole and lacks the lateral movement to defend and be a 4. Not sure who to trade for but I would be looking to make a deal. Who knows if Thompsons blood clot issues are going to prevent him from staying in the league.
