It’s obvious that the undertones of this video are not Catholic but actually are Hebrew. Especially when it comes to the mechanics and implemented values. The numbers correlate with the Book of Numbers. Chance even referenced this more by the re-design of the map to resemble Mount Sinai in the middle… where the Book of Numbers began.
bro I just found ur channel and what the hell? I watched the video in full screen and at the end of the video I scrolled down to subscribe and saw 100 subscribers. I thought I was watching a channel with 100K +, ur video quality is insane. You deserve best of everything, I have been using youtube for 9+ years and this my first time commenting on a video, keep going!
i learned multiplayer code in 2021-2022, and now wanna make a 2 player car game focussed around mechanic work like building the car from scratch, but lean into a rounds based style, so you work on the car, then take it out to get money and take some damage. the rounds could be like get from a to b, transport objects, stop or flee a bad guy, etc
Make a Stunt Car Driver Game. You get to use all the cool stuff but you could totally create a score system that involves breaking things, full sideways skidding, physics flips and spins, etc. that increase the Stunt's Performance. This way you could have multiple open world maps that could involve breakables, jumps. pedestrians, etc. And the point is to get the highest score possible. You could even incorporate a reverse driving function in case the car drifts too far around, you can quickly set into reverse driving to maintain your score while you try and get back into a forward position Maybe even have Pedestrians act as a Negative score modifier. So now the player has to react in the moment of the 'Scene Shoot' leading to multiple stunts that can be done in the level. Could even randomize the Pedestrians so that the player has to make splint second decisions to alter their stunt mid drive. I think this would be super interesting to play.
Very interested on seeing this completed. I like your motivation. Im a 3d modeller, and i love that lexus. You are going to get high if you keep learning bro!!
My broke ass really thought you were adding dents at 2:13 for added realism. Then I saw the final model and remembered not everyone has a crappy busted up car like me lmao
Rember the driver (2?) slalom mission? How about some parking garage drifting where u avoid other cars and eventually drift into a parking space. Super satisfying!
I've had zero luck with wheel colliders and they never feel good in play for me, but this video might've just explained why 😅I always thought there was something I was missing. Also, tracks that have occasional alternate paths like shortcuts and jumps might be the best of both worlds?
btw, there are a lot of drifting vids that could inspire a better game I think like the one where the car drifts between barriers just the right size for the car or burnout where u get points for near misses. Good luck bro, will be following along as I try to make my own racing games.
Hello , love the game , but came across a bug and didn’t know anywhere else to go , there is a tall rock platform in the middle of the road, you can drive through it but it obstructs the view, thank you
Hey, great devlog! I know this is a big ask, but would you be open to open sourcing your controller code? I've been trying to replicate similar-ish mechanics without using paid assets from the store.
I've actually been working on something like this starting from zero experience as well, but was using Godot as the engine. Can you open--source some of the code that you wrote so I can see how you made your car mechanics?
@@3bomb please, i really want to undestand what you did to make the drift works, i trying to make my own drift way for my game from like 1 year and half now, and no sucess
Yeah, don't try and build roads, terrain etc. natively in Unity unless someone is paying you for your masochism. The tooling is basically garbage. Use a proper third-party tool and import.
Frost on my back I’m going to get some sleep now I have no problem with this one but I’m still not sure what the plan is The guy said they were going on a trip to the beach
Know a equivalent solution for Unreal Engine (5)? I'm having trouble getting the car to drive more arcade-y. Currently the car tips over too easily, loses speed when turning (also judders a bit because of grip). Since I'm inspired by the game Split Second: Velocity, I also need to be able to track (the angle of) drifting, to fill up a meter. Are there people who are experienced at both Unity and Unreal? 😅I switched from Godot to Unreal, as there was too much of self-reliant coding to be done in Godot.
I tried developing the exact same game in unity tbe EXACT same way using unity wheel colliders. I too got annoyed when the documentation really bad. I overall ended up ditching unity's system in favour of making my own. I was very relieved when I saw your video and saw that I was not alone. Either way the video was very good and I found it useful. Keep up the good work
What would you prefer? Big boy maps with lots of paths?... or track style maps for settin LAPS? Hmmmmmmm?
track style maps
I really enjoy how this game aligns with Catholic views and beliefs. I would like to see more alcohol implemented, however.
Amen

Surprised asf when I saw 240 views. Quality ass content keep at it

Cant tell if you're being humble or you've just got a natural talent for making games. Either way you're really good

I love the energy in this devlog! Personally I prefer the idea of having different routes rather than one set path

I am having so much trouble adding smoke to my game while drifting, do you know how to, or like did you follow a specific RUclips video how?
nice video, nice game, nice. would love to see how you made the car model, like a tutorial. cheers
this is very much like Dani's videos, Nice!

man your videos are great, love your personality
what is a way of implementing force feedback? I'm on sort of the same journey as you but i find no info on this topic
No idea. I've considered that as a premise for a followup video.
The osrs music confused me at first because I was playing osrs while watching this vid so I heard it twice lol. Awesome work love the channel
Fuck yeah. I might make something OSRS related one day… I love that game. Would be fun to mess with making weird runelite plugins or something.
Great job

what about open world that has different tracks or routes in it set by the current challenge.
