@@TravelingSoloLogs I think H-Mart is more common, but I've been to the Lotte in MD and NJ. And the only Lotte hotel I know of is in NYC, but I'm sure there's one in LA too.
I somewhat understand when they accept only cash/bank transfers at smaller street stalls. However, when a relatively well-established restaurant does this... "10% commission when you pay by card" is very seldom seen in most other restaurants, and when the plain bibimbap is already 15000 won without the surcharge... from a quick search, a plain bibimbap at a restaurant in a department store in Gangnam, the most affluent district, costs 15,800 won. No 'card commission' of course. On top of that, 7000 won for soju/beer. It's usually in between 5000 and 7000 won even in Gangnam. Myeongdong is a heavily touristy neighborhood and while I know that they went out of their way to get halal certified, but I'll just say that better prices are... just out there. Just outside Myeongdong.
My OCD was about to take me out! I have never seen anyone eat Bimbimbap with chopsticks 😭. I am glad you enjoyed it though. The boss and the workers were very nice and I see you did end up figuring out the spoon is better in the end 👍
저딴 나물 종류도 별로없는 비빔밥을 18,000원에 파네. 명동이고 물가도 오르고 관광객 상대로 한다쳐도 에혀. 비빔밥 먹으러 전주집에 갔어야하는데 부산집에 가니 비빔밥이 저모양😅 Hope you enjoyed your stay in Korea. And this is my reaction for the over priced bibimbop as a Korean, hmmm😮 Given that the restaurant is located in Myoungdong, the price is understandable, maybe. That being said, the food still should have been better.
Thank you for watching! Please Smash that like button, share and subscribe! Let me know what you think about Seoul!

Haha, sorry I didn't know I wasn't supposed to eat it with chopsticks 😂
@@TravelingSoloLogs Hey, I mean, you can if you want 😀.
It looks like Japan in a way, it seems nice place to visit .
Yeah, it's very similar in some ways
😁🖤👏
Why is it “unfortunate” that many Koreans do not affiliate with a specific religion?
Because not as many temples to explore
Oh~ my god~~!! where is your spoon?? ㅜ.ㅜ... use the spoon for bibimbab~~!! ㅜ.ㅜ good luck for you in korea!!
Haha, thank you! I used a fork later on 😆
That's Korean bakery. Not Taiwanese.
You're right thanks for the clarification, I thought I saw it before that it was Taiwanese
Yeah unfortunately, it was a bit high but it was tasty! 🤤
비빔밤은 수저로 먹는 건데...젓가락질 서트르면
수저로 먹으라우....
