Some dupes scratch the itch, others, not so much. I completely agree re preferring structured bags with a smaller silhouette. I just got a Dooney Dennisen Janine in the cute, small size, which I love. The larger version is just too serious, or, as you said, clunky looking. Always nice when you drop by, Eva!😊❣️🌻
I love this video and hearing about how dupes work for you. I’m not really a luxury bag buyer so I sometimes purchase dupes because I love the style. Most of the time I end up liking them if the quality is nice. Dupes can really play an integral role in a collection. 😁 TFS 🥰

LOL I also forgot to show my dupe B 35 which helped me know the size 30 was perfect. Every time I saw how much less the 35 sizes were I got tempted until I got that dupe and then immediately I knew it was a no. Thanks for the tag this was a great video idea!

That’s so interesting that you had all 3 experiences with dupe bags. It really shows the value in trying out a style before investing in it. I purchased the Amazon version of the Coach Swing Zip and realized it’s not something I would use often enough to warrant purchasing the real thing. I even sold the dupe bag.

As far as "dupe" experiences, I think it's safe to say from my Coach Madison Biltmore experience that I appreciate being able to get in and out of my bag with a single turnlock and occasionally rely on the back slip pocket for quick access to a ticket or card, so I'm happier with a very distant Kelly dupe, rather than honing in closer to the real thing.
I must have clicked on one video for the Dress Up Your Bag Paris 15 Pochette Métis dupe bag. I bought a key pouch from them and the leather was gorgeous but the hardware tarnished and ultimately broke. It also seems to have some of the “Fan” effect from Coussin style bags. If I decide I want a bag on these lines, I think it would be the Cassie 19. That little bag seems to be a tank in coated canvas, and such an easy grab and go. I don’t always carry a lot with me, so I’d hate to find myself struggling with an s-lock and holding up the line at Trader Joe’s.
