- Some of you have probably been wondering for the last couple of days what are the next steps on the journey through Euro Truck Simulator 2. All of that changes today, however, as we are excited to officially announce our upcoming DLC project. This time, the roads will take you to the West Balkans!
Please keep in mind that everything in this short video teaser is still very much 'WORK IN PROGRESS' and further changes might be applied.

People have been asking for this for years. It's finally happening! I can't wait to drive through the mountainous and coastal roads of this beautiful region.
As a Croatian living in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I cant explain how happy I am right now
People are waiting for normal sounding sounds, and SCS Software provides us with motor sounds from vacuum cleaners. This is a fact, there is no dispute about it and I have proof of it!

Honestly haven't been this excited for a DLC in ages. Can't wait to relocate my "main" garage from Krakow to Zagreb.
As I know, you can't relocate your main garage, unless you start with a new profile.
@@lorantbiro4624 You just have to relocate yourself (player character) to another garage and then it becomes your main. Then you can relocate your trucks/trailers to it as well.

The project is still in its initial stages, but it already looks very good! I am very excited to be able to drive in the Balkans! 🚛
With this DLC maybe we will have some additions also in the Italy DLC, with the cities of Trieste and Udine that are close to Slovenia and deserve to be on the map. 🏙
We are all also waiting for Greece, with Athens and its beauties.
Trieste should happen, it's been on plenty of signs near Slovenia border
@@horvathadambence8161 Yes, there are several signs indicating Trieste, as well as Udine, that's why I mentioned it. It would be nice to have both added to the map.

Depends how this version compares to the promods version tbh. Like if the promods version is better, then this DLC will have a hard time selling, if this is better, promods probably won’t be badly affected anyway because there’s still good chunks of the map the game doesn’t have that promods does
0:30 we need more roads like this in ETS2 to be honest. it feels repetitive sometimes just having big plain roads, would be nice for smaller roads like that

One thing that I love about this game is the view. A crisp representation of each country most wanted to tour by many people. I can't visit all of them but the game gives me enough WOW factor while playing it.
Everything is fine, just add holes on roads and patches and also delete few road signs and you are almost there... Great job overall

I wonder if you included the newly opened highway in Montenegro. Although I would enjoy having to drive on the old road, it would be great to see both.
They tried but all of the trucks malfunctioned on the new road.

I was hoping that we get an Ireland DLC as the next one but I am grateful for the rest of the Balkans to appear as the next DLC.
That would be good, then they could have a free updated UK with Northern Ireland, and paid for Ireland DLC 👍
ireland is too small to get a dlc, free update is more possible

Балканы сами по себе очень узкая часть карты, что в Промодсе, что так.
Vi ne ponili sto eta provokacija dla vas i nas? Kakva serbija? Kakvo kosovo blin? Ja kak serb znajut sto serbija budet udalena kak i heart of russia. Mesec , dva , tri, nebitno, nu ona bude udaljena sto procentov. Vi dobri ljudi, vam delaju ocin silne provokacije i ja na eto ne mogu smotret daljse. Nuzno heart of russia aktivirovat a serbiju kto hui , serbija duzna biti cerna tacka na mapi nasvegda. Seicas proishodit ocin silna provokacija.Umna. U nje dejstvo psihologicko i njen cilj je nenavist k rusima. I etom, konca ne budet.

Finally some mountanious regions. While ATS has a lot of mountains due to Oregon, Washington, Colorado, now Montana next, ETS2 always lacked mountanious regions (well, Scandinavia expansion got a lot of mountains but we need more). At long last some good mountains in the game with curvy serpentine roads. Also huge anticipation for the heart of russia dlc, really interesting one (put politics aside, we drivers just want as many roads and directions as possible)

Heart of Russia wasn't cancelled, it was put on hold.
Releasing the DLC while the war is still in the spotlight would give SCS Software a bad rep

Congratulations SCS for the great work. Now all you need to do is rebuild the north of Italy Torino Verona Venice Trieste Udine also make the heck of Bolzano. You also have to end the A4 motorway as this motorway ends in Turin.

Хорошая работа, локации проработаны, но покупать это ДЛС и Иберия (пропустил как-то) без покупки ДЛС "Называть на Западе нельзя" не буду. Да и не смогу, но уже по барабану.) Считаю, необходимо развить Скандинавию; Швеция, Норвегия, Финляндия требуют внимания. Так же нельзя не обратить внимание на отсутствие уникальных для разных стран вещей. Было бы хорошо, если это было учтено. Да и трафик надо оживить, пусть пешеходы переходят дорогу, экстренные службы на вызовы ездят. Надо оживить дорогу.
Вот, кстати, да. Я вообще не поддерживаю РФ с этой её "спецоперацией", но за длц про Росиию обидно. Вот же Путя, сукин сын, не мог недели 4 хотя бы подождать...
А разработчики вообще поступили хоть и понимаемо, но странно. Во первых, их офисы навряд ли бы закидали камнями за выпуск длц. Конечно, в первое время с начала войны это длц могло бы быть неуместно, но хоть сейчас-то могли бы. Да и во вторых, почему Балканы-то? Они сами говорили, что выпустить Сердце России было бы "спорным решением". И взамен этого они сами берут и выпускают длц с регионом, просто полным противоречий. Одно только Косово уже чего стоит))))
