I really enjoy your reactions and insightful comments. Thanks for featuring Dimash on your channel and sharing your journey with us. Peace and love from Pennsylvania USA.
Don't worry too much about the Dears. We all think he is lovely in different ways. I am a trained fighter and was a soldier in the SAS. I love Dimash. Say how you feel. Lots of love from Ireland.
Dimash explodes on stage, gives it all. The outfit is one of the traditional costumes of Kazakhstan. Daididau an iconic song, based on a letter written by a Kazakh poet to his wife (at that time he was imprisoned as a political prisoner by the Soviet system) because he had been told that his wife was going to leave him. Dimash composed the music. His goal was for this song to make Kazakhstan, its culture and its music known. At concerts, Dears from all over the world sing along with Dimash and he always thanks his audience on his knees. It is very emotional, thousands of us have learned this song phonetically and thousands have learned Kazakh to sing at their concerts. Kind regards from Spain.
Thank you so much - We are fans of the music and the people who listen to Dimash have been the best people to come to our channel - we have nothing but love and respect for the "Dears" Thank you again!
His ear monitors completely failed and this performance took such a toll on him physically - his humility is as stunning as his talent - his luv for his family, nation, and mankind is seldom seen anywhere~
Здравствуйте! Рада была вас видеть и слышать ❤️Не болейте. Димашу желаю 🙏 счастья здоровья любви и творческих успехов Желаю всем мира на земле 🙏 🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿
Hi! I'm an Italian Dear. Yes, it's after I AM A SINGER. He had to achieve notoriety in China to be fully appreciated in his country and by the Kazakhs. This is another one of his dreams that has come true. That of singing one of his traditional Kazakh songs in front of an audience at a concert and therefore that is why he was moved to cry at the bottom. Incidentally, his earpieces didn't work during this execution. We love him so much, I can no longer think about my life without his voice. Thank you for reacting to him and helping to get him knowed as much as possible. He deserves it. Say hello to Angie. 👋👋
The Bastau concert was absolutely magical! Some days, the music, the voice and the audience just align and there are fireworks. This was, without a doubt, Dimash's best concert ever.
Hello, good to see you. Amazing , wonderful presentation , in his country , with his people , and his traditions . Dimash loves his land very much, and therefore the emotion of being home. You must have your "Dears" tiara. Spanish subtitles are fine. A hug from Chile .
Being from the US, I love the fact that Dimash brings his beautiful traditional culture to all of us, it’s very unlikely that I will ever travel to Kazakhstan, and even if I do, I don’t know that the true traditions would be what I see. Dimash brings people together from all over the world, Rollen , you and Angie are going through the NY concert, which is amazing, have you ever heard an entire concert hall in the US sing in multiple foreign languages? Dimash does this, he breaks down boundaries he shares his homeland’s music with the world, and that is his dream. As a North Carolina Dear, I am more than thrilled to sing along in any language United as humanity ❤️. Dimash doesn’t conform, thank goodness for that, and we are right here with him and you and Angie to enjoy what Dimash brings, thank you 😊
I Love this song by Dimash, it makes me emotional the way he sings it. He keeps in that lovely higher tone throughout most of the song and it just sounds like a warm blanket wrapped around you the whole time, and then comes out with that powerful bel canto belt in the middle of it as well. I just love him lol
This always makes me cry. Dimash was so overwhelmed and so emotional at the end, playing to his home crowd - a dream come true for him (and for us haha!).
Yes, it's the same song, only at his Bastaui concert in 2017, which was his first solo concert and had nearly 50,000 nazareths. The lyrics of the song were written by a revolutionary Kazakh poet who was captured, imprisoned and executed for his activities, but before that he was lied to that his wife had also left him, and that's when he wrote this song.
Thanks friend! Nice reaction 😊 Next concert Bastau D-Dinasty 2017?!🙏 Please!!!!😂 Yes, the beautiful performance! Feel well! Greetings for Angie and Pablo 👋🇮🇱
👉 The Dombra is a folk musical instrument widely used in Central Asia. It is made of wood and has a pear-shaped body with a long neck (only in Kazakhstan with frets) to which two gut strings are attached. The dombra can be rightly called the queen of Kazakh instruments since the XIX-th century. Dombra can be met in each yurta; it was referred to as one the most necessary and obligatory things in the life of Kazakhs. One of the greatest dombra players was the Kazakh folk musician and composer Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly, who had a great influence on the development of Kazakh music culture, his musical composition 'Adai' is popular in Kazakhstan and abroad. Although Kazakh musical instruments resemble those belonging to other tribes of the Central Asian ethnic group, they have their peculiarities dictated by national traditions. Today the dombra is a national symbol of the Kazakhs and Dimash said every Kasacian child learns this instrument. In many legends the heroes of successfully made use the ability to 'communicate without words: 'In spite of his father's prohibition the khan's son secretly went hunting. He met a herd of kulans and wounded the leader. Infuriated, Lame Kulan killed the youth with a stroke of the hoof. After waiting in vain for the return of his son from hunting, the khan declared that anyone who approached him with that estirtu (bad news) would be executed by pouring molten lead into the mouth. No one dared for a long time until an old dombrist (a person who plays the dombra) attempted. The sorrowful tune of the kyui was able to send this tragic message across to the khan. He ordered that the molten lead be poured into the dombra. That was how the opening in the upper sounding board of this musical instrument came about.'
That's my Kazakh Dimash, my Dimash in traditional dress who bows to his god at the end to thank him for all the love he receives from his audience. There was a translation problem in French, I don't know about the other languages, but at 14:05 it translates exactly "pardon me yeah, the traditional side for which I really don't have the greatest respect" then that in English, I understood that you said the opposite, that you really liked. And I know you wouldn't disrespect Dimash. Translation issues can mislead people.
@@barbarasaracini1271 If since in the French subtitle it says that he has no respect for the traditional, whereas if we listen to him, even if I don't understand all of the English, I understand that he doesn't have didn't say that
The song is based on a poem by Kazakh poet Magzhan Zhumabayev, who used to call his beloved wife Zylikha - Daididau. Magzhan was imprisoned during the Stalin regime. While in prison, he was mistakenly informed that his wife had left him. The song Daididau is a response to this information: "Are you determined to leave me? To whom shall I divulge my sorrow?" The folk instruments used in this performance are the dombra (the long-necked stringed instrument) and the kobyz (the upright cello-like instrument). Dimash is intensely proud of his Kazakh heritage and seeks to introduce these traditional instruments into his music when he can.
