Killer mix. Brings back memories of Texas 2000-2002. She was on fire when I saw her play. The dance floor was packed and sweaty. No phones just jnco pants shaking the floor.
YES!!! I seen her in Houston Arena in ‘02 and I’ll never forget it🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
@@summertea8609 I saw her in 2000 in Houston she played right after Richard Humpty Vision crazy rave
Lizard lounge in Dallas right?? Or was it Trees or something. Pretty sure it was LL.
Bronco Bowl days
I saw her in Austin and Dallas numerous times over those years. Excellent time.
90's and early 2000's Candy Kids!!
P.L.U.R.
Couldn't nobody do it like we did it!
Remember this! This is OUR history!
Love you all!

♥️♥️♥️
Today's Candy Kids have no idea. Remember the old Happy2bHardcore albums from Anabolic Frolic? Today's era has no idea the thrill of walking into a music shop here in the States and being able to get Happy Hardcore music.

@@MetispI just wanna know one thing... WHO'S HAPPY 2 B HARDCORE!!!!!!!!!! There was an epic moment at WEMF '02 (I think that was the year) in the Hullabaloo tent during Anabolic Frolics set when he called his fiancee up on stage and proposed to her. What a moment. Everyone went nuts. Such cool memories. Actually there's video of it on RUclips.
@@djjoshplacid83 I guess that's where the intro for Happy2bHardcore Chapter 7 came from. Don't Cry For Me fading into all the whistles was the perfect intro for the disc.
I played this over and over again back in the day... my neighbors loved me at 2am
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Ohh there you are Dick how you've been? 😅🤣😁
REBELS NEVER DIE................ DJ IRENE is the shiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzznit.. HARD HOUSE ALL DAY EVERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY DAY!

Still rocking in 2024
Met her once in Harker Heights, TX early 2000’s at a foam party! Such a sweet heart!
Omg!! My cousin and I played the hell out of this entire album our Senior year in high school
I think it's so amazing this generation bump this legend today, even though this album came out in early 2000s. The peak rave years are alive today. I'm sure the rave Djs today are highly inspired by her today
RIGHT!! Met her at a rave in Houston and she was cool as shit...

Man this album brings back memories.
Goddamn...this takes me back. That intro! It's etched into my being.
Been looking for this album since my brother in law introduced this to me I'm so glad I found this !!!!!❤❤
This scene hit hard and had everybody going to the club to dance. DJ Irene doesn't get enough credit. Met her a couple of times and was always good ppl.
Amen to that.
Man I never got to meet her but she is the global house diva as described... Who hit harder than her? Definitely not Tiesto or that Chinese dude Steve whatever... D.j. Irene could son these bitches with one album... Too legit to quit!!!
I never met her, but I definitely never missed an opportunity to party with her! Lived in stl from 2000-2004. Tried to hit the best parties every weekend. My girlfriends friends Got me into the scene. Dj irene, dj bam bam, and bad boy bill. My top three... love through music!

@@jonpierce8342 Irene, & Bad Boy Bill are the greatest within the hard house genre! 🎧🎧🎤🎤🎵💙
Dj irene, The Queen of El Paso, Texas.
I've always loved good hard house. Irene is one of favs. Bad Boy Bill too.
Bad Boy was damn good but I really dig Paul Oakenfold. Met him at a rave in Houston

Yup this album is what got me started I remember 13 years old fried staring at the walls with this playing
Flashback for real! 🔥
I remember ditching school to go to the mall so that I could go buy this masterpiece in CD format and listening to it on my way home on my big ass disc player (with anti-skip technology) Good shit.
I've been spending 100 to 200 dollars a week on alcohol and ive been working on cutting back. My liver and my kidneys have been having a serious talk with me. Thank you for being so real. I quit heroin kind of the same way you stopped saucing. I'm well on my way and I appreciate this content so much.
49:22 begins the icing on one of my most favorite cakes
is that Sidekick Sam debut in Da Underground!! fuck yeah!!!!!!

Dj irene owned the arena back in 1997
My favorite album of hers! This is one that sent me down the rabbit hole of electronic music. 🕺😎
Saw her live in Houston back early 2000s! What an awesome show she put on!
Hell yeah me too, I seen her in 02 in Houston at the Arena omg that shit was crazy AF man, everyone was lit in that bitch, good times man good times 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I saw her in 2000 in Houston too, she player right after Richard Humpty Vision
DjI was one of those HHmixers that come around about once a generation. My opinion, she's down right OG status. The melodies she could work in, were second to none.
Songs and albums that take you back in time.
Seen this live New Year's Eve in Lewiston Maine.
We miss Irene come back to Texas old school style, DJ micro an Bad boy Bill style Dallas Bronco bowl best raves ever!! HELLYEAH 1999 -2003 Ridgle theater Ft. Worth as well badass
Magnets, telephones, synths, bangin percussion, ring tones, Cher, wtf. This shit went so hard for me in 2002
To think that i was about 12 when I got this album all hyped up! Now im sharing this with my kids.
I was in middle school when I first heard it I think 6 or 7th grade. Super good stuff she’s fucking awesome
Going to see her shows really gave a greater prescriptive on life itself BEING FREEE AN KIND AN HAVING A BLAST WITH ALL WALKS IF LIFE. AN BEING IN A CROWD LIKE THAT DANCING TO THE BEAT AS FREE PEOPLE AN HELLYEAH THATS SO BADASS TO ME.
Saw her at Tracks 2000 Denver, CO! Great time! Wish this was streamable 😢❤❤
This was the first electronic music. Been hooked on the stuff. This hard house album is simply sick af. It introduced me to going to raves in Chicago when I was 14. Best times of my fn life
This definitely was not the first EDM
I remember being 19 going to club fx in downtown seattle to a release party for this album it was packed
Interesting enough this version is the original intro 👌🎶🎼
Wow! Amazing Mix. All hail DJ IRENE! Blade shows up @17:00!!!
Voodoo and Serrano: Blood is Pumping
it took me years to find this first song 😭
I don't remember much of my 20s I stayed High but I do remember House Music.
I had the cd and fell asleep to this album and it was lucid love the mixes
i remember being like 4 with my parents always playing this
Wow just had some Flashbacks! Earth fest! Lewiston, ME! Those were the days! Thanks for this my favorite Irene Album! She put on the best shows!...always tore it up! By far my favorite house dj! Nobody put on a better show and track selection was layered with random precision! Dj Irene! Always killed it and leaving you wanting more! The only 2 that even came close to putting on a live show like her was Donald Glaude( loved his energy) and dj venom! But still wasn’t no Fucking Dj..... Irene!!!!!! And there were a couple other I liked can’t forget humpty vision and Bad boy Bill but again Nobody had the theatrics, stage presence, energy, and the best track selection like Irene! She will always be my favorite House dj!
This was the good shit. It ccouldnt be any more early 2000s or badass to mix sandstorm and Kernkraft 400 together.
You aint lying bro... Real disc jockey...
Yes real disc jockey right thur... She is the scene...
So, I bought my Audio Underground cd when it came out in 2001. My CD has a different intro than this one. The intro starts the same then at 2:16 my into goes into Alice DJ's "Better off Alone" instead of System F's "Out of the Blue"... from there on the intro's are completely different. This intro is only about 4 1/2 mins, my cd's into is like 8 1/2. Crazy weird. DJ Irene is a great hard house dj.
I asked her over FB because I have 2 or 3 copies of this album, and yep, I have both intros. She confirmed there are 2 versions of the disc. I wonder what prompted her to do 2 versions though, unless it was a licensing/copy right issue. The one with Out of The Blue is better though.
@Metisp Awesome info.. ty for getting to the bottom of this for me... i thought i was going crazy for a min.
AMAZING! NOICE! CANT EXPLAIN THE FEELING!
3:00 Yessssss
Watched her live in Houston when she performed this one!! Good times and good memories
Hell fuck yes!!! Me too!!!!

I wish the entire Photosynthesis album was in RUclips! So hard to find now.
I was thinking the same thing. Photosynthesis was amazing as well. 🎛🎶

House music cant ever die!
Gracias Ma. An oldie but a goodie! Still a favorite dj of mine.
18:26 One Of The Best Sick Mixes
I've been a fan since 98 and I've seen her 15 times she has to be the best hard house DJ that is a master at turntables and making wax entertaining to watch live and she still out there ripping it up and also teaching classes in southern California I believe
do you feel the vibe? no one uses that word anymore cuz it doesn't exist anymore
2019 and goin strong
Her best album ever. I remember her playing E 11:00 in Colorado
I cannot find this anywhere other than RUclips... This doesn't stream anywhere?
still waiting on 2:16
This was the real house music, not that new comercial EDM bullshit.

Lowkey masterpiece...
Lowkey masterpiece...to say the least...
No había escuchado este disco. Impresionante q más puedo decir! Gracias
❤ #1
La pura caña
Searching seek and destroy was a nice little add
On the cd version the intro is different from the online one, don’t believe me? If you have the cd listen to it then this one, I prefer the cd version than this one.
It is for sure. I know the CD version by heart and this one threw me off! Still good tho.
Logan Bme I’ve been trying to find the intro song for a decade and this is basically the best I could find! So if I just buy the cd u think it will be the other (better and baddass) version everyone loves?? Do u happen to know of any other way I can find it by chance?! Thanks!
At a rave one time I put my back against this big ass speaker n tha bass felt wicked 😂🤣
Thank you for posting this one!
irene version of house connection 5
This 'CD' threw me off. The intro is totally different than the retail CD.
There are 2 versions of Audio Underground. The intro mixes are the same until about mid-way, then each version has a different one.
There was a lawsuit because she used a sample The Simpsons TV show. Then she changed it using the zombie nation bit instead
Love this cd so much, good memories. Even though, now I'm going crazy trying to remember the name of the track at 2:08 :(
I looked everywhere for this version of Junior Jack’s “My feelings”. I could not not find these version. I ended up finding the a cappella version and dubbed it over the club version to reproduce this version. I felt so great playing it at a house party. Good times!
Do you still have your produced version? It’s my favorite as well. Can’t find it anywhere.
Junior Jack - My Feeling (Hatiras High Voltage Dub) I'm in the same boat as you, trying to hunt down the mix she used on this CD. This is the closest I could find.
Teach your children well their fathers hell did slowly go by
2018 ???

2024! 🎛🎚🎶

Back then shit was good
Freshman year of hs for me lol

Man oh man back n da daze with this one, anyone else noticed the intro is slightly different? Better off alone isn’t by Alice deejay isn’t mixed in
He’s right listen to the cd version its different from this one. I guess they had problems with licensing? Idk but it’s different for sure
5:09 5:09 5:09 5:09!!!!!
I like the track that goes, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, bang, bang, bang
saludo desde venezuela full barranco revienta corneta.
Someone definitely sped this joint up. I don’t remember this album being this fast lol
Nope, that's the tempo of the album. Irene always sped the tracks up back then.
Yep hasn’t changed.. we were just that fuckered up lol
Nope, exact same. I listened to the original hundreds of times.
