Oh goodness its beautiful! I'll bet its a wonderland at Christmas time. Thanks for taking us around and the history lesson. Oh yeah 29000 back then, you were rich.
Always hate cleaning off the snow! Full of knowledge, love those dining cars. We have one here in Kenosha that’s very popular... that food looked amazing! great video!!
You’re such a plethora of knowledge Andy! Love that Black Bears jersey too. They had some great teams in the 90’s. Growing up, I loved watching my Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves (UAA) play against those tough WCHA opponents (ie Minnesota, Denver, North Dakota, MD, etc). Brings back great memories.
Thanks Dave, and yes some of those Maine Hockey teams in the late 90's were impressive, lots of great players in those days. I used to go to some of the games with my Dad. And Wikipedia helps me a lot with these history vlogs LOL....thanks for watching !
I missed the premiere, but I am enjoying it now! Simone made the right choice with the apple pie french toast it looks delicious. As I have said before, your vlogs are full of information and beautiful scenery.
Thanks for watching, that French Toast was great...but im still convinced it was desert, not breakfast. Thank you for watching! Glad that you enjoyed it!
Thanks Cathy...we have enjoyed doing these home state vlogs and are actually ourselves learning new things about our own area so we will definitely be doing more
Coffee, Bagel, Andy & Simone. Let's Binge. Wouldn't that be the State capitol of Maine is Augusta? Diner's are usually pretty good food. No Jam? Are you Canadian? Simone wins the breakfast war. Canada was going to Attack? This was a threat? and Now we Know! The State of Maine should be paying you and Simone. You two are great ambassadors to the state. Too Damn Cold to fight in Maine. lol Looked like a good hill to sled on. Thanks for sharing another great tour of Maine.
Yes we have lots of Revolutionary and Civil war sights in Maine, the state was officially declared a state in 1820, but was populated way before that as part of Massachusetts. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Love the view and music of the diner. Oh my oh my....apple pie French toast....wow. The hash did look like it needed more corned beef, but it still looked pretty good. The sky is so pretty. Cool, I love Civil War history. The hat looks awesome! Some really great views! Just beautiful. Fort Western looks cool. Benedict Arnold was a hero, then a traitor, what a tragedy. Cool...Augusta Castle. Bank Robbery....Jesse James came to Maine? 1850, atta girl Simone! Canal Street. Nice view. That must have been a Dam Building. Dam Houses. Dam Construction. Dam fire 🔥. Dam Dog Park. Dam ice skating ⛸ rink. It was a great video!! Enjoyed
The Diner is great, its an icon in the area. Wish I had been there for lunch, the special was Blue Cheese Meatloaf. But the hash was great, although it needed way more Corned Beef. There is a lot of Dam History in Augusta, we only scratched the surface in this vlog. It was to Dam cold so we decided to drive back in the Dam car and warm up at home. Thanks for watching the Dam vlog !

It looks so cold. Pickles handles the wood, and you scrape the ice 🧊, let's don't mix up the chores...A1 diner, cool! Go inside, Im freezing!
LOL...Yes Simone is great with the wood, she can handle it all she wants!

Montpelier, VT, and uh, whatever in South Dakota or somewhere. That hurts! Pierre, pronounced Peer, as mangled as Montpelier is by English speakers.
We mangle lots of names. Oops. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Any irish there ? Lol 😆
Maybe a little Irish in the Corned Beef Hash ?
