    Just a suggestion; Why not bled a half of that pineapple leftovers, add yellow food coloring and also add it to the corn jar. By doing so will have a perfect pineapple sweetcorn with cloud effect. Otherwise that pineapple its a waste.

    Solid recipe. I did a similar thing with a variety of flavors including olive brine. We'll see if it works.

    Do fish in general have a liking for sweet tasting bait, or is it mainly carp? thanks.

    Howdy from Texas, could I prepare field/feed corn and use that instead of the canned corn.

    • @baitvault
      @baitvault  7 лет назад +1

      Yes you can. Maize is popular for holding its shape better when placed in the syrup.

    Does anyone know of this process makes the corn PVA friendly?

    • @GregAsdourian

      I doubt it. But I imagine adding a cup of salt along with the sugar would do it.

    Sometimes I wonder if fish can even taste stuff like this, I’ve caught carp on worms, crickets, maggots, lures, hell; even powerbait.

      I've seen people catch carp on almost anything, even Haribo sweets lol🤣 They will eat whatever but flavours are important as an attraction mechanism.

    is not not possible to do this with pineapple juice ?

    • @baitvault
      @baitvault  7 лет назад +2

      +Manuel Fink I have tried it with pineapple juice a long time ago but it tends to go slightly brown. I think using the fruit adds fruit fibre and cloudyness to the syrup. You could try juice but it works out the same price as a tin of pineapple slices. Even a fresh pineapple would work!
