I would have highly considered doing a nutsert instead of cutting the bigger hole for the ratchet wrench, but nice install nonetheless. I'm going to consider this mounting point for future lighting!

What about just attaching the lights together at the back gate and running a single wire to and Aux panel? There is a LOT of work here and could probably be done a bit more efficiently. Nutcert the rear fin, screw lights in. Wiring married in the fin and one lead out through the firewall to the panel. Then you can use them as needed. Great idea, thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you for the video! So where do the wires running from the back of the lights go? Do they just overlap the top and get pinched between the frame and the door when it shuts? Or did you drill more holes into the wing and run them through the hollow inside?
