Thanks a lot for great info. I have listened many of your videos. It helped me a lot to pick the right digital piano for my daughters 😊 I would even visit your shop, but we are from Europe 😊
One feature I'd like to hear more of is how well a digital piano can work with a VST patch on a computer (Pianoteq, Ivory, etc.) Can I assume every DP can do this perfectly, or are some of them better at it than others?
The main ease-of-use factor is whether they support USB Audio - this let's you hear the sound of the Synthesizer through the piano's own speaker system using nothing more than a single $0.50 USB printer cable. I believe all Yamaha models released since 2015 support USB Audio. The new Roland models since 2021 (FP-30X, FP-90X), Korg USB models, Dexibell, and StudioLogic all support USB Audio. Kawai and Casio have not yet implemented USB Audio - and this is the main reason I won't be buying a digital piano from either of these two.
@@pianowhizz Thanks for the info. But in fact, I'd already bought a Kawai ES920 when your reply came in. You can't shilly-shally for ever. The good news is, the touch and the main piano sound are so good that I am perfectly happy to play with default settings till the cows come home!

Regarding drinks spilled inside the DP ( 19:00 ) maybe there's a market for a 100 m waterproof piano?
