This is one of the best interviews Pat has given in recent memory. The AI PC could truly be the start of Intel's massive comeback. Really impressive stuff.

pretty much, but they have some voltage regulation and a slightly improved node that allows them to squeak out a little more frequency.

Then we are going to see intel delay new product launch again and again due to poor yield rate

Your pretty much right, but I'm alil disappointed with Apples M3, Intel 14th generation, and Mvideas 192-bit memory bus, 3080 ran a 320-bit to 380-bit memory bus. For some reason Nvidea (and AMD) for that matter have limits significantly the size of their memory bus Starting on their 4th gen processors, still not 100% why, since no Memory upgrade justifies it. The AMD ryzen 9 7000x3D's chip has basically set the standard in desktop CPUs which is.. basic level obvious way to make a already beast processor wayy better, question for you guys is why is Intels 24 generation EXACTLY the same ad the 13th generation? My 13700hx is running 8-P-Cores & 8-E-Cores, so why is it the 14th generation ls only improvement (based on leaks) seems to be the i7 alone..? M3 seems to be slight disappointment to me, but the 'SoC' w/ Neural Network is clearly looking more and more like the potential future with CPUs running GPUs like the 4090 inside its CPU measuring some at 30 GPU cores, hard part is measuring any Apple technology against the competing marke5 since they're obsession with security and secrecy has turned them into potentially the most paranoid Chip making company on the planet, bit Day Apple Inc. Bought its rights back from Apple wad potentially the beginning of the end the future concepts of computing ad the 7nm, 5nm & 4nm Chips in our phones seem to be bringing the whole 'System-on-Chip' Concept into reality on desktops/labtops - the future for my favorite processor companies looks interesting but so far the 14th generation looked like a waste of R&D (Averaging Somewhere in probably the Billions...) So let's talk the true future of the computer market cuz since m.2 the labtop Desktop/ Gaming Console world has changed drastically. USB4 Future cable that should be overkill using a wire that has the compatability to charge & 240 Watts ( Considering even Cellphones don't charge that fast, I'm assuming Thunderbolt 4 drives have capacity ton charge a Server or desktop pc running at 240 Watts power (whismch USB 4 or Thunderbolt 4 cord can compensate, but since this happened one if my future fiances is out there sucking my cock regularly. (Just Expensive,

Intel is nowhere with AI. MSFT asked AMD, Nvidia, & Qualcomm for 45-50 TOPS from their 2024 CPUs for ChatGPT. MSFT doesn’t even consider Intel a CPU maker anymore.

Most of his changes will take years to implement. He has just been marketing the old products and services that were there before he came. The new fabs and intel 14th gen laptop and 15th gen desktop is where you are going to see his changes.

The old CEO was using the company as a cash cow paying dividends while the top line was dying. Pat is righting the wrongs and turning the company back into an engineering company.
