That was my first venture into Dean Koontz. The combination of a great literary work and an excellent narrator was awesome. I am off to find more, I thought after a lifetime of reading I had read the majority of good works. How did I miss this writer. If you listen to the start it says it was performed by Malcolm Hilgartner. It's extremely well read. So those who say it was AI are incorrect. BTW 'fileting knife' is pronounced with the 't'. FYI the story ends at 1.03. Great story. Thanks for uploading.

What i can rememeber about it, a guy works for a computer company (maybe a software company) that employs most of the town. Some of the people in the town turn into monsters and at one point the main characters son is absorbed by his computer. It's hard to remember all the details. I read it a long time ago. Anyone remember this book?
Really would love to listen to you read all the Game of Thrones series. I dislike the guys voice reading it on Audible. It just doesnt fit with the story. Yours would. Thank you. ive been enjoying listening to you read.

Good story, but was there really a need to replay from approximately the middle to the end a 2nd time starting around 1:07 ? I truly dislike when a story does this. Otherwise well done but that repeat ugh
