Guys these mountains are no joke take them at a safe speed!! I’ve seen many occasions where drivers would never be able to get stopped for stand still traffic at the bottom. Love you guys be safe
Tim, hope you and the family are doing better. The anxiety episodes really hit home, I used to get it like you did at 32 and it’s gotten much better for me now at 34. Just remember to tell yourself everything’s okay, and know it’s only temporary; it does get much better!
Hey Tim ,Angelo from Australia here ,I'm a owner operator myself with 3 trucks ,its great to see you're prepared to teach the new up and coming driver with real work situations, training schools can not teach this sort of hands on experience, power to you keep safe
Hello tim gentry your the greatest trucking bussiness man and Driver trainer i away wonder how cattle drivers load and unload. Cow and cattle but now I see thanks tim gentry and are a very very safe driver go ing down mountains your the best stay safe out there🚛👈👈🙏
Tim he's going to be a great trucker and a great asset for your company and I think he'll have pride in a clean and polished truck that represents the image that is your trademark
I won't lie those are some cute little cows. Loved the episode! You are the KING of trucking on RUclips. And I love how your not complaining about everything! Stand up guy! For sure.
Great job MR .TIM THANK U AND THE CREWS FOR ALL THAT AND TELL THAT YOUNG MAN HE DID A GREAT JOB I MIGHT HAVE TO COME UP THERE FOR SCHOOL TIM IS GREAT I LOVE THE WAY HE TEACH HIS DRIVER ....
The trips are there, the problems are some are just wanting to drive in certain areas, and want to be home with family, and I get it. But being home does not feed your family. Thanks for showing what’s really going on in trucking Tim. Brice is coming along great.
Love watching your videos specially the Cow haulin ones. Looks like Bryce is doing a good job and with your experience and knowledge will make him a Great Cattle hauler.. 👍
Love the new shirt 😊 ❤ Glad your feeling better. You had me scared and I was praying 🙏 for you and your family. Be safe on the road and Happy Thanksgiving early. Know you are blessed having such a wonderful family ❤
Thank You for sharing and showing non truckers how it works and what is rumor and what is fact. My Dad drove in the late 50's and to about 1964 driving Mack the whole time. I rode in his last truck a Cab over I don't remember if it was a Mack or what but I remember it was Orange with white stripes with a sleeper. He hauled hanging beef, chicken, produce anything that required a reefer.
Mr. Davis, I was once acquainted with Sunflower Beef out of York Nebraska who hauled hanging beef to NYC on a regular basis. I was told at the time (about 50 years ago) that they employed trained drivers experienced with hanging beef. A cut above, so to speak. Sunflower was later a division of Crete Carriers but I haven’t seen them in years. I’ve been in East Tennessee for 30 years, so maybe Sunflower still exists somewhere but not where I see them. Hats off to your dad. 👍
Amen brother I feel ya I’m a trucker I run grain and I’m been busy I run for a major farm business and have been home once in four months but u got to want to make that money I love your show I watch u when I’m on my break
Great Video. Keep hauling those Moo Moo's. Anything paying that kind of money per mile is excellent. I hauled a few loads of cattle in Texas. But mainly stuck to heavy haul equipment. You might want to think about a drop trailer and moving some equipment. The rgn is good but a drop is faster and easier. Much love again from SC.
I think that he did pretty heck of a good job God bless him and his family God bless you and your family keep up the great videos I think that you guys are the number one channel for the truck and stuff and God bless the world is all just get along
I have been pretty addicted to watching your channel. I've never drove a truck but I think what your doing with your son and business is fantastic. keep up the good work and if I ever come to Tennessee ill look you up even though I hate Tennessee university. Go Gators
ill have to say ive been driving since 07 and the fog still gets me when everything else doesnt bother me. but i have seen some of the worst accidents in fog from guys that were being super truckers trying to fly through the fog. be safe out there!
Man that brings back memories back when I hauled those ole moo cows unloading in the middle of the night no one at the barn hauling sale cows out of the Knoxville barn to cookeville and cullioka tn. Was awesome back in the day🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍👍
Love the video Tim,you are an awesome boss.drivers should be Kicking in your door for a job.gimme one of your trucks, and you wouldn’t see me for months at a time lol.make sure you look after your health and be safe.kind regards from Simon, a fellow otr trucker in the uk covering the whole of Europe
I agree Tim a lot of these Drivers think they have to be home every week end to be with there family's but before you get to that point you have to pay your dues
Well FSC Trucking sent me here about 3 weeks ago He was explaining about what happened so I came here checked out your channel this is pretty awesome dude I gonna like this channel pretty cool trucks glad you’re doing ok anyway be safe take care of yourself and thank you for these videos!!!
First time I drove the mountains Wan at night. It was just a car but wow when daylight hit I was like holy crap. We don't have mountains in Wisconsin. I was heasing to Rockingham. I could not imagine driving a semi through the mountains.
Well crap, u walked right by my black Pete in the shop. I was there 6 days, the flatbed parked beside the tanker with the red tarps was my load of skidded coils.
My brothers haul containers from the ports, they are really slow right now. They are struggling. One is leased on to a company. The other one runs under his own authority.
Fog can be a major problem on mountains, I remember 20+ years ago of a large pileup on I68 on big savage mtn west of Frostburg. Dad grew up in Garrett Co and would tell stories of how the fog would get so thick that you could barely see the end of your hood.
That was my favourite part of log hauling was climbing in empty with my trailer over my drives , then comin back down the mountain loaded up to hilt , man used give goose bumps . 1979 kw law 924 protruding rad , butterfly hoods, pacar bush cab , Cat 3408 15od 46000lbs rockwells , kw big six suspension, compensator in the truck frame extension, water for truck and trailer , oh yeah mean jakes ans a breake saver , real good hold back , I never really ever got smoked in in that old girl but did a lot of passing em up lol 😂
Tim, you are lucky in where you are for certain freight. You, through years of work, have boat loads. And you are in a good lane fr cows. Plus many other things. But it is like over on 460 in West Virginia- in the eighties, coal was king. Now, they struggle. In a few months that distribution center being built will add dry van an possibly reefer on your door step as well. Move over to South Carolina and you start getting too much deadhead to good loads and too cheap rates.. Miami is worse.. But you know that. Now tell Bryce to go take his test and get that license in his pocket to haul cows for you.
When you're slammed with good business, it's a very good feeling to feel wanted by so many clients needing you to move their livestock and boats. The fact they are willing to pay out such good prices should be a clue to ditch the broker and go directly through the client.
man it's good see you doing so good , i'm glad that you have such good people around you, you definitely have some of the best kept equipment , God bless you'll, may he keep you pockets full and the equipment rolling
I believe one more ride out with Brice and he should have it all set. He is definitely ready to get his CDL. Enjoy watching your videos keep up the good work from Madison Heights Michigan
Hi Tim ,I think the drivers that use some brokers are having dramas .I’ve seen some RUclipsrs saying brokers are not paying much for loads.keep trucking Tim .you must to Australia one day.
How often do you wash out the cattle trailers and do you wear something over your boots.? I wouldn't want the smell of cow poop in my truck. When I drove I had a second pair of boots for loading . I halled grain. Have a great day and keep on trucking.
I’m in the process of having back surgery from old war injury. I just had to close my hotshot business. Hard to find good people to work was my issue. Plenty of loads to grow when you chase it not want it. Ill be back
I'd really like to see you get some kind of fixed camera mount for when you're driving. Holding the thing while driving seems so sketch. Great video as always regardless
Yup that's what's causing the focus to keep going blurred..FSC trucking has a fixed camera..I guess that would mean editing though. No hating Tim just a tip.✌️
Is your dog a standard poodle, I drove coast to coast with my standard poodle a very smart dog I think that he would have driven the truck home if i'de let him do it .
Great video I’m glad you were patient with new driver I think if you train him right he will work out just fine …Just be patient with him he will screw up few times but with your guidance the lad will be just fine cheers God Bless you all from ex Trucker 👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😃😃🦘🇦🇺
Guys these mountains are no joke take them at a safe speed!! I’ve seen many occasions where drivers would never be able to get stopped for stand still traffic at the bottom. Love you guys be safe
Your shirts are missing the turds flying out of the trailer.
I bought 3 of the bigger 12v batteries from Rural King and all 3 of them went bad between 14 and 17 months.. NEVER again! I was just SOL...
Lol Man ain’t no way I’d leak how much I was making on freight there’s some shady people out here in this field
Tim, hope you and the family are doing better. The anxiety episodes really hit home, I used to get it like you did at 32 and it’s gotten much better for me now at 34. Just remember to tell yourself everything’s okay, and know it’s only temporary; it does get much better!
