Hey guys! If you're still interested in learning some of this tunes, head over to sheethappenspublishing.com, as we finally released a complete guitar tab book for the Lotus! Hope you enjoy love
Keep your music coming please!! I think your solo work is the best out of the projects you're involved in. Diverse, and not overdone in any aspect, with just the right balance of feel and emotion. Two thumbs up from this guy!!!
Jakub Zytecki hey it's Jeremiah I've been waiting brother, I can't get a hold of David cause he's in C.A but, I'm so glad I found you email me Jeremiahgatlyn92@gmail.com
Amazing. But...I mean, it must take many years to record an album like this. The rhythms alone, building layers, getting all the notes right, especially on the intricate solos...timing and layering of the pads/effects, reviewing the progress... for an album of this detail and (over)-intricacy, that could take a decade. What is your studio access situation?!
I think 3:18 to 3:50 is incredible, his phrasing and the use of slides and selective times to mute the strings and not to mention his note choices! And the fact that he plays chords in the middle of his complex phrasing is just such an unbelievable demonstration of mastery over the instrument that hes able to pull off these licks with such finesse and style. I know it can sound just like mindless shredding to the average listener but when you really hear whats going on you realize how brilliant he really is.
I love the concept of having separate artwork for each track, It adds to the listener's experience. It's fun to imagine how the paintings are connected to the music.
I only came here to listen to the nullity rooted song to hear any difference between this and the little live recording there was when i looked up "Jakub Zytecki". I ended up listening to Fall of Logic and Majin. I dont know what to say. All i know is that this kind of music is frighteningly addictive (i never though i could describe music like this) and i feel like im connecting with it sooooo hard right now. Im going to listen to the rest of this, because you my friend (and your skills) have my most genuine and undivided attention. I came to know your name because of your performance with Plini. This breaks all barriers and understandings of music. Idk man, fuuuck!
+Straat Telus looking back at my original comment I can see how some may think I was stoned, since I was just completely taken over by the power of this album. It gets you in the zone. Maybe a stoned zone, but a great zone nonetheless!
This album has some sort of spiritual impact on me. Evokes these emotions I've only ever felt in dreams. Unearths things that have been festering in my subconscious, and brings a temporary release from the dreary humdrum of daily life in this modern world of ours. I can say the same of "Living Mirrors" by Disperse. Not much music out there has the power to bring tears to my eyes the way songs like "Dancing with Endless Love" do. Jakub Zytecki, I don't know what "it" is, but you've certainly got "it."
Holy crap. Thank god I found this dude and his band. I am a drummer, and this is like somewhere between tappy math rock and experimental metal djent madness. I thought it was going to be just the first song, and it jest kept going. Brilliance on all musicians ends and those that decided breaks and song structure and such... So well done.
This album will forever stand as one of the most diverse, daring and diligently produced solo albums any guitarist has crafted. Truly the Passion and Warfare of the 21st centrury.
this is perfection ... I am totally addicted to this album .. you are extremely talented Jakub , Bless you , You are absolutely one of my all time favourites
Whenever I hear Jakub, Plini or David shred I imagine all three of them hangin' on Olympus givin each other high fives while shredin and just laughing their asses off, while all the gods are just dancing to their awesome music. It's that fucking good!
this is truly impressive ... rare compositional creativity ... thank God young ppl are discovering musicianship ... this is a phenomenal work ... and i am grateful for the existence in this world of the other 60,865 people who like this, and grateful to be a part of such an elite sector of humanity
I’m back, this work is a Surgical Strike. Violent in the most loving way. There are guitarist I have heard and I think “I play that way in my head but my hands can’t function that way …..” then there is Jakub, I am speechless.
HOLY FUCK! Dude, this is one of the best albums i´ve witnessed in a long time! Can´t believe this only got like 150k views... Instantly bought it on ITunes!
The most underrated guitar player/musician from the new generation, his work is beyond crazy!! And the playing...Speed, clever licks, vibrato, creativity, a monster right hand and an outstanding rythmic feel/ use of ghost notes.. A shame he doesn't get more attention...Keep it up Jakub!
43K views - hope it keeps growing. This new batch of prodigal virtuoso young guitar players influenced heavily by Petrucci (you know John loves it!) playing the Ernie Ball guitars RIPPING and COMPOSING these GREAT songs just warms my heart. Jakub is channeling Morse, Greg Howe, lil touch of Saraceno in there.... just wonderful. I fail to see how anyone on this small little youtube channel comment section could possibly "troll" or say anything even remotely negative. Delicious aural presentation.
This album, WOW, as an long time prog/rock/metal and music geek in general for 30+ years, this album, this ARTIST Jakub Zytecki is an absolute gift to music, i have spent countless hours the last 4 years listening to all his music, he is very very special. He is up there with my all time favourite 3 guitarist as well, THAN YOU JAKUB !
There's not a single song on this album that's followed by a song with similar style. And for that? I thank you so much. Love the old stuff. Love the new. Keep on jamming!
Ja nawet nie wiem co napisać... kupa bardzo dobrej roboty - muzyki... dziś na rynku muzycznym nic mnie nie może wciągnąć, ale to trafiło w środek mojego klimatu - MISTRZ !!!
Jakub - I love what you and Plini and Widek and Sithu and Maxim Micic are doing. Just beautiful stuff. I absolutely love it and I'm hard to please.. BONUS POINTS FOR THAT WET SWEET JUICE AT 31:40 you slippery shredder melody guy, you. =)
Such a complete, brave, honest album. It's so amazing to hear some nice bass skills, death metal vocals and even a bit of Hammock influence. But the most incredible thing is that even if You shine as bloody good guitar player, the music shines even more.
Still listening to this album one year later and it still does spiritual things to me. This proves how timeless this album really is. Keep up the awesome music both on solo work and Disperse brother \m/\m/
@Antony Jones - Then again, when I commented, the album had been out for a year so my comment isn't completely invalid. LOL!! I see your point of view. I guess I should add that I've enjoyed Jakub's demos and his band Disperse for 4 years and this is all before this debut album that came out. Nonetheless, at least we agree on the music being awesome.
You know what I love about this? you cant classify this to any specific genre, seriously bro you have truly created a masterpiece, I loved every bit of it, so unique, so creative, cant wait to hear more! :)
There are two types of guitarists: 1) The players that totally inspire you and make you want to pick up your guitar and play for hours on end. 2) Players so good that after 5 minutes of watching their RUclips videos they make you want to smash your guitar in a million pieces and never play again because you are a worthless peon in comparison. Jakub is the latter.
I couldn't have thought of a better name for the first song, that was the first thing I said to myself when I heard the first riff before I even saw the description.
I've waited about a month to hear this, and continue to. (still waiting on physical copy in mail) Jakub is an amazing composer/player. im grateful to have such music be a part of my life, regardless.
I just love how the track Plini features in sounds like a tune in the style of Plini and the same goes for David's feature. This whole album is well done!! Love it to death
mega love bro
Plini has spoken!
ohm!
Congratulations on your latest EP too!
Nice guest lead ;)
I’m 66 years old , I have listened to music all my life. This is the single greatest work I have ever Heard. Jakub I am beyond moved.
Haha. Jakub is the man. Be sure to visit his newer stuff as well. Or even earlier works like Disperse. The kid is a force of nature.
i miss this sound from him honestly.
Miss this so much!
I love his heavy stuff!
Well it'll always be there if you wanna listen
Relistened it few weeks ago and it's really phenomenal!
It was the best.
2021, still some of the best guitar playing I’ve ever heard.
This is literally one of the most creative prog metal albums I've ever heard.
You guys dont't know Haken and Native Construct ;) Maybe Leprous too, they're really creative
This album changed my life.
@@XxNoMErcY99xX Leprous lmao
@@nakuuu7677 Leprous is great :)
Everything else is so boring in comparison. The energy is unmatched.

the end of yellow.....gets me every time man!!
doesn't matter what year it is
always
goosebumps
Same
The end of that butt gets me every time
Its a perfect ending for a perfect song from a marvelous album
fav moments:
23:00 - disco thall orgasm
31:06 - gtr+synth lick
41:32 - sudden stops in the chorus
44:20 - obviously
55:21 - ridiculous slides
1:01:10 - changing to an atmospheric triplet groove
amazing album!!!
where's satya's diary ending dude?
oh yeah.
9:41 - heartbreaking but epic minor chord
i really that country licks in the intro as well
26:34 most discusting intro to break and break itself...
I think 3:18 to 3:50 is incredible, his phrasing and the use of slides and selective times to mute the strings and not to mention his note choices! Exactly what I was thinking
And can we talk about his phrasing?? Holy shit, top notch. 28:34 WOW
Congrats on the release Jakub! You killed it in every single way
Now its your turn to release an album sean ;)
Fucking amazing dude! :D
Jakub and David Maxim inspired my entire life really in many ways.
Thank u both for existing.
This is the best album I've ever heard (I haven't heard it yet)

*prays to prog for Umpfel x Zytecki collab*
Nullity Rooted great jam . Playing to it on drums now . think im gonna do drum video to it or something off this CD
Chciałem napisać...., ale.... brak słów..... w głowie mam tylko: GENIALNAAAAAAAA!!!! Najlepsza płyta ostatnich stuleci.
Coś pięknego!
Lost my mind the second I heard "Yes". Always loved that video you posted.
Fuck yes! I love how it came out too, a full minute with just one guitar was a pretty bold move and it works perfectly.
New Era of music has come.. yeah!!!
Agreed. IMHO such guitarists with great technical skills and imagination during impros are somewhere between prog rock and fusion/jazz
I only came here to listen to the nullity rooted song to hear any difference between this and the little live recording there was when i looked up "Jakub Zytecki". +From the Zephyr woow, thanks man! So glad to know that Plini shows could give me some recognition.
+Jakub Zytecki More than you can imagine Jakub. Great work !
+Straat Telus looking back at my original comment I can see how some may think I was stoned, since I was just completely taken over by the power of this album. It gets you in the zone. Maybe a stoned zone, but a great zone nonetheless!
+From the Zephyr "frighteningly addictive". perfect description. might as well say that i was frighteningly addicted for the past few months :)
Anup Sastry's "Lion" is what brought me here (o:
8:00 - 10:24, best outro to a song ever.....Also, Majin sounds like Pantera & Korn put together
I was wondering if anyone else thought he sounded like Korn haha
I love how there is lots of Jazzy Metal and Jazzy Rock out there
The solo on Yellow, moves mountains my friend.
Yellow is the most beautiful song I ever heard. I keep coming back an replaying. Hats off to your singing Jakub

2019!!!!!!
This album will forever stand as one of the most diverse, daring and diligently produced solo albums any guitarist has crafted. Truly the Passion and Warfare of the 21st centrury.
Came back here, after all these years, to reiterate my statement. Masterful, masterful work throughout.
One of my favourite albums of all time! Jakub, you are genius!
The intro to cold is so good but yellow is my absolute favorite
Atonal progressive cosmic dissonative mind blowing...atmospheric and beautiful. Genius!

Ojej, no jestem pod wrażeniem. Dopiero pierwsze kółko, ale już wiem, że będzie pętelka. Brawo, zią. Oby więcej takiej muzyki.
I’m back, this work is a Surgical Strike. Violent in the most loving way. There are guitarist I have heard and I think “I play that way in my head but my hands can’t function that way …..” then there is Jakub, I am speechless.
Harsh Blows was unbelievable. My discoveries keep getting better and better...
2022, November in Arlington NE. USA. I have a new favorite Axe handler. This music is gut wrenching in a Perfect way.
Just treated myself to a listen-through of the whole thing. Whooaa. So much going on. It's like the exploration of an entire other world, all of it.
What a release. Creative and dynamic. Technique, production, huge amounts of musicality. Absolutely brilliant work.

I'm at the half of the album, but I need to rest. It was just too much
The most underrated guitar player/musician from the new generation, his work is beyond crazy!! And the playing...Speed, clever licks, vibrato, creativity, a monster right hand and an outstanding rythmic feel/ use of ghost notes.. A shame he doesn't get more attention...Keep it up Jakub!

Very tasty record. Great job to Jakub Zytecki, producers, guest appearances, and recording engineer.
So many great goosebump-inducing moments on this album. Love the work you put into this!

this album is incredible, so interesting to discover all the nuances, seriously some next level shit.
so many of my favourite artists! so keen to listen to the rest of this, only a few minutes in and already enjoying it
There are two types of guitarists: 1) The players that totally inspire you and make you want to pick up your guitar and play for hours on end. 2) Players so good that after 5 minutes of watching their RUclips videos they make you want to smash your guitar in a million pieces and never play again because you are a worthless peon in comparison.
Jakub is the latter.
Zytecki's productions are one of the reasons I picked up my guitar after a severe episode of depression. That beast of a man is my spirit animal.
You forgot mediocre and ass shit players.
I couldn't have thought of a better name for the first song, that was the first thing I said to myself when I heard the first riff before I even saw the description.
satya's diary makes me feel things i dont know i should feel, let alone things i think are possible to feel.
Out of this world man! Blown away by this album right now.
I'm only sorry it's taken me till now to pay attention to this.. pretty freakin brilliant...
still one of the most satisfying listens after a couple years. timeless.
Immortal music period.
I've waited about a month to hear this, and continue to. (still waiting on physical copy in mail) Jakub is an amazing composer/player. im grateful to have such music be a part of my life, regardless.
+dawnofspiritualawakening it will come dont worry. guaranteed!
this is just mind blowing. i can use the word baffled here and truly mean it
That solo + outro of Yellow is the perfect ending for a magnificent album!
I always Jakub had this kind of potential inside his fingers. What an album.
I have ''Yes'' on my phone for over a year now and i was so happy when i heard it i can't even.
ewa o.f.f is just so ultra nasty of a record.. so complex and melodic.. the bestt man
I just love how the track Plini features in sounds like a tune in the style of Plini and the same goes for David's feature. This whole album is well done!! Love it to death
I've been waiting for this for a few years. It's magically. Thank you, Jakub!
