Transcript:
Journalist - 'I was expecting with a genuine interest and excitement the meeting with the patriarch of Indian cinema, the director, actor and producer Raj Kapoor, also popular in Bulgaria.'
Raj Kapoor - 'Today, talking to you brings back some very, very old memories. For some reason I haven't visited your country Bulgaria but my heart has been near you. I was close to some of your diplomats, here in Mumbai. Bulgaria also reached me through two Bulgarian students - one in photography and one in editing and direction. They were learning here, in our studios, in Mumbai. My films are old, I am old myself. It's nearly 30 years or perhaps more since my first films were shown in the cinemas in your country -- one of them is 'Awaara', which you have loved so much, another one is 'Shree 420', and subsequently my children's film 'Bobby'.
