It's actually not THAT bad as it may seems, since the great majority of the people that dies here are the criminals, its not like in Gaza that they kill everyone. Criminals fight themselves and the police and end up dying a lot.

I'm brazilian, and the big cities are definitely dangerous, but I highly doubt even in the densest areas we're the "most dangerous country" in the world, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of countries in Africa that are completely dominated by militia, mercs and pirates with also much worse living conditions. I don't even know if Brazil is the most dangerous country in the Americas when you have cartel in Mexico literally roaming around with .50cal turrets strapped to the back of trucks, going even up to the south border of the US at times (and thats where a lot of the drugs traded from and to. That and Colombia.)
EDIT: Even looking up statistics based on what the guy said in the video I can find wtf he's on about (neither most dangerous or most murderous)

I’m tired of media show always this of brazil seriously we have so much more, and favelas people that live there should be respected cause the majority are descendentes of slaves back time, without reparation. The portugueses didn't give the opportunity for them to live in the cities or find jobs, so they built their houses themselves at the mountains far from them. These communities have faced generations of systemic oppression and neglect, yet they continue to persevere and thrive in the face of adversity. It is essential to recognize and uplift the resilience and strength of favela residents, who deserve equal rights and opportunities for a better future, not being marginalized and treated like not humans, theres so much culture, but always the state with help of the police wants to make a war, the police in Brazil it’s the police that most kills especially black people in the world e não temos penas de morte….The only reason that Military policy in Brazil was great. It was to “protect” after the abolition the Europeans like Portugueses that was one of the most cruel colonies in the world, from the poorest, blacks and indigenous people, otherwise white and rich people could do everything without go to jail, still like this today., Who finances os traficantes, são os brancos ricthose in Brazil who are very far from the favelas and due to lack of opportunities, due to pure prejudice, they choose to do dirty work so as not to go hungry, from a young age the most vulnerable are recruited into this work, and the state takes advantage of this as an excuse to kill black people even no having the death penalty in Brazil and imprisoning many innocent people just for their appearance, this is the reason why Brazil is the most unequal country in the world, while thousands of descendants of European billionaires in Brazil are one of the countries with the most super rich who do not pay taxes this situation exists, peas!

I believe the reasoning is about the total number of deaths, which is indeed high, but also misleading, since Brazil has a very large population. When you account for murders per capita, Brazil is not too bad when compared to the rest of the develiping world, even if it still isn't the best.

It's feel like the G36 but with better structure and it never got stuck or something. We used the Fal 7.62 for around 20 years but it turned obsolete on actual days due to high recoil and the weight not good for urban combats, we use it for only jungle troops now.

The guy's video is well done, there's just one problem, when he says that Brazil is the leader in murders he lied, and he lied a lot, Mexico, Jamaica, Belize, South Africa, Ecuador, etc. They are much more dangerous countries than Brazil, the problem is that the Brazilian media exposes the country as if it were just a favela, while this only exists (in greater concentration) in São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro (as far as my knowledge about the country).
It's as if the US media only published Detroid, and said that the country is all about murdering teenagers, gang fights and drug trafficking. Brazil is a very receptive country, but as in every country there are cities that are not very inviting.

Moro na cidade com mais câmeras do país, tentaram me roubar inúmeras vezes e até hoje só não conseguiram pois foram ingênuos, até pular por cima de carro tentando me atropelar eu já tive. • @SaltBalls
      @SaltBalls 3 месяца назад +1

@@Enfermidade.

If this guys went to Rio de Janeiro and went in a slum alongside BOPE, it would be a very different video. Firstly they would need an armoured vehicle, the "caveirão", and in the minute they step inside the slum, they would be welcomed with AK-47 gunfire.

Just remembering that these favelas in São Paulo are dominated by the PCC with a different way of acting from the factions in Rio de Janeiro, if it were in Rio de Janeiro there was practically a 100% chance of starting a shootout, so in Rio de Janeiro special teams usually go up and with armored vehicles and patrols are not common
The PCC, on the other hand, acts like the Italian mafia, is more discreet and does not depend on favelas but on points of sale that can be moved at any time, this expertise of not confronting the government ended up making the PCC the largest faction in the country, even though it is less violent than the C.V of Rio de Janeiro
In addition, the PCC being the faction that dominates the south and south of Brazil means that these regions have lower lethality statistics, while Rio de Janeiro, the north and northeast of Brazil have frequent clashes between various factions practically all the time

The thing is here in Brazil, the big cities and capitals are really big and indeed really dangerous, specially places with lots of gangs dominating the favelas and basically at war with themselves and police force. Also, in the big cities like Rio, São Paulo, Fortaleza and a couple more, there is a lot of problems with public security and public engine. So the data of this places put the numbers of violence really high for the country but if you choose (or be lucky) a chill and small place to live, it’s not that danger at all. I’m speaking of cities from 50k around 1M of population. For example, where I live it’s ok to go around outside after midnight, but in the places I’ve quoted, that’s insanity. The chances of you be robbed it’s really high (killed, not that high, unless you pass through drugs zones). But yeah, it’s not like our country is controlled by Militia or anything like that, but our security programs have a long road ahead to be, at least, functional, among other political problems as well, I mean, our president has been no long ago in prison; the system as a whole need to evolve, along with the consciousness of the people about these problems.

As a Brazilian, I can say that this video made in Brazil was very biased, Brazil is not one of the most perfect countries in the world, but if you are a tourist or from another country and visit Brazil, relax, you will not die, be kidnapped or Something like that, there are countries much more dangerous than Brazil, Mexico itself is an example. the most dangerous places in Brazil are the favelas, and in this video the guy shows as if the favela were the thing that represents Brazil, whereas it is not, there are good and humble people living in favelas, but unfortunately the majority are dominated by thieves and criminal factions. Another important thing, Brazil is not limited to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
there are dozens of beautiful cities that you can visit, have fun in a very safe way, the person coming from abroad just needs to pay a little attention. Brazil is not the most dangerous country in the world, it never will be. Another thing, the deaths that occur in Brazil are due to violent crimes, most of them are among members of criminal factions themselves, that is, they kill each other, which ends up increasing the number of violent deaths in the country. It doesn't mean that if you visit you will suffer anything. since most crimes occur within the favelas themselves.

And yes, the favelas here are extremely dangerous if you don't know how to walk and behave without attracting attention.

I've lived in Brazil for over 10 years, and I have a terrible experience. I've been robbed more than 3 times, my family has been kidnapped (they only stole money and didn't get hurt, luckily). There was a time when my colleague didn't return money I lent, and when I asked them about it, they got angry. What's worse is that many criminals use their money to buy drugs. I've heard of a case where an elderly man lost all his belongings, including documents, because of a robbery and is now living on the street.

I'm Brazilian, this video didn't have enough dangerous activities to showcase how bad it really is, don't get me wrong, they're lucky that nothing major happened, police officers always dies in the Favela, but also the criminals too, but most of the time the victims are innocent people who was just working or minding their business and the cops comes in with blood on their eyes ready to shot and dialogue later, and this is the reasons the citizens hate police, they get innocent people killed and nothing really changes, and the criminals live in the top areas like it's Iraq, and some people don't tell police where they are because they can get killed for snitching, so if you snitch in Favela it's over for you, if you say dumb things on Facebook and they notice it, it's over for you, and if you talk like a gangster in Facebook because someone borrowed a gun so you can show off on Facebook the police will come knocking in your door, unfortunately if you date a criminal in the Favela you will live a tough life, getting used for drugs delivery, hide drugs on your stomach while you're pregnant, and if your boyfriend gets caught they ditch you, and you get the blame for the crimes, some kids who don't go to school get into drugs because adults and other teens manipulate those kids into drugs trafficking so they will end up getting addicted and rob people to get more drugs and they will join factions and officialize their criminal activities, some die, others get arrested the justice release them, they rob, kill, and get arrested and do again again and again... it's Brazil, if you kill you go to jail but a judge releases you, a politician who likes to talk make dumb decisions, so they can live good lives, Brazil is a fucked up place, there's no change to it, the system is fucked, the hierarchy comes from the big guys in the court room, and even the media will make lies to make things worse...
Favelas are like that because we are poor, we lack schools, we lack intelligence to decide for ourselves, and we also can't hope for better, every year it's a cycle.. F Brazil

I am tired of always seeing the media only showing the negative side of Brazil. We have much more to offer. The people from the favelas deserve respect. Most of them are descendants of slaves who never received help. After slavery ended, the Portuguese did not let them live in cities or find jobs. So, they built their homes by themselves on the mountains. These communities have faced many years of unfair treatment but continue to survive and grow. It is important to recognize and value the strength of the residents of the favelas. They deserve equal rights and opportunities, not to be treated badly. There is so much culture in these communities, but the state and police often fight against them. The police in Brazil kill the most people in the world, especially black people, even without the death penalty. The military policy in Brazil was made to "protect" Europeans after slavery ended, from poor, black, and indigenous people. Today, rich and white people still commit crimes without going to jail. The rich whites finance drug traffickers but live far from the favelas. Many favela residents get involved in crime because they have no other choice. The state uses this as an excuse to kill black people and imprison innocent people just for their appearance. This is why Brazil is one of the most unequal countries in the world. Meanwhile, many rich people in Brazil do not pay taxes. We need to recognize and fix this situation to find peace!
Favelas are places where hardworking people live. Many residents are descendants of slaves who were abandoned after slavery ended. They built their homes with their own hands because they had no other choice. These communities have created their own cultures and economies despite facing extreme prejudice and violence. Most favela residents are honest workers, not criminals. The lack of investment and opportunities forces some to turn to crime out of necessity, and drug lords funded by wealthy people take advantage of this. The police often target these communities with violent raids, killing many innocent people. The real issue is not the people in the favelas but the unfair system and lack of opportunities. Proper investment in education, infrastructure, and social programs can reduce crime and improve life for all Brazilians. The current approach only causes more violence and inequality, while those truly benefiting from the drug trade remain safe. Recognizing the humanity and potential of favela residents is crucial for a fair society.

"Recognizing the humanity and potential of favela residents is crucial for a fair society."
No, we need to give a better environment to those people, the favela its a place where all the basic infraestruture cant arrive, you need to dense more the center, this way the access to work, entertainment, hospital, public services, is more easy.

It is important to say that when that cop mentions "when we kill a thug we celebrate with cigars and beers" he is most likely talking about drug dealers and faction members inside the favelas which behave (and I am not exagerating) just like mexican cartel members. It is NOT common for the police to just shoot any criminal they see. When it happens and the cops cannot prove that that person was an active treat (for example if the said criminal was shot in the back), they go through a whole criminal process and may be ditched from the force, and even go to jail.
