    Love it! Can i put in a request for more of your "spiritual" type dioramas, such as the floating island, waterfall and ruined temple please? I've learned so much watching your videos and these are just pure perfection

    Hi! Thank you times a million! I'm a diorama builder that lost his mojo with modelling a few years back. During. Christmas I had the flu and found your channel, watched most of your vids and totally reignited my passion! Your approach to models is spot on and your videos are very easy to watch. Genuinely cant wait for the next one!!
    Would like to get my stuff on a channel one day. Please keep on making videos. 🙏

    Very cool. Wish the UAP was one of the more reported egg shaped, tictac shaped or classic saucer shaped

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  2 месяца назад

      Thanks I toyed with the classic saucer shape but I have built something like that already. The tictacs fascinate me, but by far the most common sighting over the last few years are glowing orbs. Many of which may even be reverse engineered tech - ie human built. I guess I wanted to explore that route a bit more. I am so far down the ufo/uap rabbit hole and have no intention of climbing out any time soon. 👍👽🖖

    Very cool (and very topical!) and the end result came out great.
    Looks like you wanted a very muted colour palette for this one, but a bit of orange or red pigment dust is a way to add vibrancy to an arid scene without it feeling too "alive" - a surprising number of desert plants have bright yellow or red tips too, so a little drybrush on the tufts can give a spot of thematic colour if needed.
    If you're struggling for fine aggregate, a 25 kilo trade pack of sand from a builders merchant is great value and comes in a bunch of sizes. Depending on how it's been prepped you might need to dry it before using for models though.

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  8 месяцев назад +1

      Appreciate the tips and advice. I have sand but the super fine soil I was using is much more fine than regular sand. Its crazy how small differences at a miniature scale can make big differences. Either way next time I go to the hardware shop I will pick up some fine sand as a reserve.

      I know the feeling. It is the same fear that applies to many creative pursuits. The fear of not knowing where to begin. Once you do begin, the fear of messing it up. However, the only way past this mental hurdle is to jump in with both feet. Learning from your mistakes is the best way to learn. That and research to give you a starting point. Also be realistic with your own abilities and try something that isn't too complicated to start with. And finally, feel free to reach out if you need any advice!

    Update on the foam board. As per your suggestion. I went to a hardware store here in the states known as Lowe's. I found the item made by Owen's Corning 1"×2'×2' Project Panel. They called it. It was under $10.00 dollars here. Owen's Corning has the Pink Panther on their shipping boxes. I guess it was a paid mascot?
    Anyway, it may be a while before I get down to making the terrain for the diorama. My first project will be a Warlord Games/Italeri 1/56 Panzer 3 and Kubelwagen with a few troops. It's not a battle scene. Mind you. But, on the march. A work in progress.
    Anyway, just wanted to let you know I had success locally. I have used Woodland Scenics products to some measure of success in the past.
    That product can be found locally at hobby stores, Hobby Lobby, Hobbytown USA, and model train stores. Here in the US.
    Well, that's all for now. Thank you for your help. Loved the UFO diorama!🙂

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  4 месяца назад +1

      Sounds like a very successful trip. I know Lowe's as my Mum lives in the US. Sounds like a great idea and very sensible to start with something achievable whilst still trying new things. I use a lot of woodland scenics products myself. From rock molds to foliage. They make great modelling products! Good luck with your project

      Firstly, thank you. I use rust and moss by dirty down. I cant rate it enough, my only tip is to mix it well and use in a warm environment or use a hairdryer to activate to reaction. 👍

    Hello Mr. Cuts, I was just thinking of you and behold - a Notification of contact made with your ship comes up. You mentioned "... methods to divide space ..." It seems you divided time and space with a wonderful Third Encounter scenario. The video montage at the end is quite evocative of what really happens out there in the desert.
    Thanks for sharing your passion for the craft. Mikey V.
