The guys just cancelled their U.K. part of the tour so did they cancel because of the conditions over there or did they cancel due to the conditions from within. xo

In everyway I totally get why Steve Perry wouldn't touch that band again with a ten foot pole. What a freaking mess.
steve perry cant sing nearly as good as he used too is mainly why. Arnel blows him away...its not even close.
@jayedwards3122 True. Arnel started at the same age Steve had already begun losing his power. But even Arnel is weakening too after over 15 years. The Journey catalog is probably the hardest of any on a touring Rock tenor.
It’s all about money. Everyone knows that. Thank goodness Steve isn’t in all that mess. Steve is smarter than all of them put together.😀
Steve also gets a share of all their touring and albums. Steve is not smarter - he's just very, very shrewd.
@@MohsinWadee I would call it smarter, with a great attorney. At least he is out of this juvenile, drama horror show. He deserved a part of the money. He wrote or cowrote most of the songs. There are many musicians who get a cut of the money. If you think Steve is“shrewd” research what is going on with Cummings and Bachman. The band they were in cannot tour due to lawsuits. You definitely need to do your research because Steve doesn’t stand alone. Cain and Schon are hilarious. Apparently, it’s news worthy. Cain and Schon are not “shrewd” as you say, but dumb and dumber. 👍😊
@@SueKay-rq1lr Perry gets a cut from new albums too, albums he's not involved in, neither writes nor performs on. You're right, he got lawyers - and I repeat very shrewd.
Perry is not this altruistic character he gets portrayed as. Here's a fact few know about - during the Miami leg of their 1987 tour before they split, he effectively held the band hostage, refusing to perform unless they signed an agreement with his lawyers.
Cain is no saint either, frankly his wife is an unsavoury character.
@@MohsinWadee I’m aware of everything you said. Factual or not is not the issue. I listen to Steve because of his voice, not what he does or says. If I critiqued every singer I like, I would like no one. I go for their musical talent. I did enjoy listening to Journey when they had Perry, Cain, Valory, Smith and Schon. My point is that this Journey drama is ridiculous. I like a musician for their talents, not their past or present. However, physical abuse of a spouse or significant other will turn me against a musician or any person. 😊 I don’t think Journey has produced many albums since Steve Perry left the band. If Steve does receive money, thumbs up for Steve. I will always like Steve no matter what anyone says.

Never should have kept calling it Journey after Steve left!
While I agree the best version of Journey included Steve, the band was called Journey and was recording and touring LONG before Steve entered the picture. They didn't even want him. Adding him was a record company mandate because they weren't commerical enough.
They should ask Steve Perry to be their business manager! No, I’m not kidding!😊
So sad! Saw them in Nashville, Tn over 2 weeks ago. My daughter and I took a bathroom break and I fell face first into the stadium 🏟️ concrete due to raised concrete while coming out of our seats at THE PIT.
I’ll save my $$ for Steve Perry just in case he does a solo tour.
***Gaffers & Roadies walked off tour because they did not get paid.I honestly miss HERBIE HERBERT who kept those guys in check 20 years and never should have been fired in 1993 by SP!

Steve was never about the money. He worked hard for what he has and it cost him big time! He is such a smart man!

Like Steve Perry once said, he never really felt part of the group. Steve knocked himself out showing love and giving everything to the audience. I don't think they ever grasped how he left every ounce of energy and love to the fans. Guitars get plugged in for power. Steve's power came from within. A sincere, loving person. How embarrassing of Neil S. and John Cain, such ego, greed and pettiness. They never appreciated what they had in Steve.
This is why I want to try to get nominated Steve Perry for a Kennedy Center Honor separate from Journey!

That's why they canceled there UK tour.. Steve got out and stayed from the last time..
It appears that NS has a Humongous ego that has impacted the band for many, many years.
SP has admitted that he was a "pri**" (his words, not mine) in those days too and regrets many of the things he did and said at the time.
Too bad NS can't do the same.
I have met Neal 2 times at The Namm Shows, hes a complete a-hole with a huge ego, hes not even in the Top 100 Guitarists in Rolling Stone voted by his peers, that shows you something.
Gutted, as I had tickets to see them in November in Belfast. It would have been great to have seen them even without my favourite Steve Perry, love this man ❤😊

They need to just hang it up. I used to be a huge Journey fan, you literally just can't care anymore. Their last album was one of the worst. Eclipse was good, but Arrival was better than any of the new stuff and its not even close. Arrival is as good as anything Journey did with Perry IMO..
the difference in politics and the fact Neal has to support that wife of his thats half his age practically are the base of schon and cain's problems.

❓Didn’t they make it 50/50 bcuz originally SP was partially in and they hated having a third person coming between JC & NS so so SP bowed out, dropped his litigation and sold them back those shares but kept his merch & naturally use of songs he wrote and originally sang with Journey? I’m wondering how NS & JC would do w/a third party again? Especially if they can’t keep a manager?
It's a business it's been together for 50 years. I don't know very many companies that survive for 50 years without lawsuits and in fighting but you know what the company goes on and that's the same with journey.
If Fleetwood Mac could do it, Journey can do it.
Although I admire, Cain’s talent as a musician and songwriter. And I believe he was, and is an integral part of Journey’s success, I absolutely agree with Neal that politics of any kind shouldn’t be a part of this band. That was never what they were about! With the current climate this country is in, that would be the quickest way to alienate your fans. Way too volatile.
Neal and Jon are probably making 100k a show each and are worth millions but then greed sits in and they can't afford to pay their roadies I have heard so they cancel UK and Ireland shows, not a fan anymore.
I equate this whole issue, to a couple of 5-year-olds fighting over toys in the sandbox. GROW THE HELL UP.

They will waste a couple of more years and die and eventually have their dust blown away. They should be out there SPAWNING cover-type bands to pay them franchise fees-!!
Are fans losing sleep at night because 2 guys in Journey are feuding with each other about spending too much money yet still sound fine in concert and when they listen to their recordings? Am I understanding this correctly?
