Whenever dubov plays rapid, i remember what he said about the time formats: “if it’s classical, you have to study and rest, but if it’s blitz you can party the night before. For rapid, i don’t know! Do i sleep? Do i party?”
he seems to party during the game
@Rowland no but I do not like such questions. "how do you sleep, with whom do you sleep..."
@@DagarMan0 yull yg di trrhghyyyhyyyytrrttuyyuyuuuygfcc. Vgtfft ser yy h yy huhyu wyi di di to go di bls hoo ya
Mm
haha thats so awesome
Dubov has to be one of the most fun people to watch play chess.
Cuz he brings unpredictable move
True
not in classical where he plays his dry catalan all the time. in rapid, he's one of the most entertaining players.
For the chess moves yes, he is one of the most fun but for the facial expression the funniest is Nakamura
Yeah he plays very unpredictable. But I prefer watching Hans more
If anyone who doesn’t speak Russian wonders what were they particularly discussing after the game then briefly:
Anish is interested were there any inaccuracies or mistakes earlier in the game before he blundered that Qc5 (which is actually quite easy to do even for a Super GM like Anish while playing on a seconds). And he asks if smth was wrong from the opening (as far as I managed to hear Anish confesses that he forgot the line with Bh3 followed by Rb8) and Dubov says that he have already played this line a few times before and Anish’s reaction with f3 and Kf2 was quite okay and with accurate game white should be okay but black have enough compensation for the material damage. Dubov than says that maybe 14.b3 was a little inaccurate and suggests move 14.Qd2 instead, Anish mentions 14. …c5 after that and then they both agree that after 15.dxc5 white should be okay (maybe even slightly better) because after queens trade despite b2 pawn being vulnerable white will have an idea of trapping the bishop on h3 with g4. Then they discuss the moment of the dagger pawn sacrifice 17. …e5! and Anish asks about 18.fxe5 instead of 18.dxe5 and Dubov says the he “counted a beautiful line” which is 18.fxe5; Qh4+ 19.Kg1 followed by bishop sacrifice 19. …Bxe5! And if 20.dxe5?? then forced checkmate sequence 20. …Rg4+! 21.fxg4; Qxg4+.22.Bg2; Qxg2# and if white try to trade of the queens with 20. Qe1?? then also practically forced 20. …Bxd4. 21 Qxh4; Bxe3+. 22. Qf2 followed not by 22. …Bxf2?? but by 22. …Rg4!! 23.fxg4; Bxf2# which is hell of a tactics in my opinion:)
Then Anish smiles and agrees that it would have been an interesting way to end the game and then they leave.
I am Korean who speaks Russian and you are welcome:)
Thank you!!
Brilliant, thank you so much!
How come Anish speaks Russian 😂
@@Niceonthefrenchriviera his mother is Russian, he was born in Russia and lived there until he was 14 years old.
How did you hear that? I'm native and I can just slightly hear some words from Dubov
3:03 chair adjustment in sync
The fact that anish didnt start the clock shows his class
Tal would be proud ,very much proud
I hope something Dday he will be a WC
@@Szachybyskawiczne He was the rapid World Champion 2 or 3 years ago.
Players like Dubov makes chess popular!😊👍👌
Oh yes!
Dubov sir is my favorite chess player
Mamedyarov is mine, but I also like Dubov.
But Tal is forever
Great class shown by Anish despite the crushing defeat. Didn't know he could speak Russian fluently!
His mother is Russian. I knew he was fluent but only found out recently.
He was born in Russia
He studied in Saint Petersburg until he moved to Netherlands in 2009 at the age of ~15.
Can anyone hear what they're saying??
He's more fluent in Russian than Dutch and English
The bishop move preventing castling started it all😂
Yep..
why did Anish not trap the bishop tho?
@@denny1521 no possible to trap it
@@denny1521 f3 followed by g4 you mean? H5 or f5 saves the bishop and anish is left with even worse king side
5:03 thats probably what a real life premove looks like lol
isn't it a foul to touch your piece before the opponent hits the clock??
@@dimplerani5262 no its ok to start moving after your opponent played his move and before he presses the clock
@@waseemfrancis1376 wait what really? how so?
@@vinwulff why does that surprise you? The move is „made“ once you release the piece, after that, it is your opponents move
@@foobar5809 but anish made the move on daniil's time
What an amazing game... Dubov security, calm and knowledge shows us the real mastery of chess. Even the way he moves the pieces... We really learn so much watching this incredible game.
Wow. I think this is one of my most favorite games ive ever seen. Dubov is such a tactical and positional genius. Gives everything away with no cares in the world all for attack and to create tactical opportunities for a massive attack. Love his play style. And thank you chessbase india for the amazing recording as always!
I want Dubov to be champion again some day!
Again?
@@southstar9931 he was a wc (rapid format)
@@alisherzinullayev5026 didn't know that. Thanks for the info
Is there one spell can bring, the once and future king.
A great example of attacking play. He showed that a king wandering around in the middle of the board against 2 raking bishops, a queen and a rook was worth way more than 3 pawns.
Dubov rook move lock all anish pawn movement. Also, i think anish late to castle the king open wide. and so dubov went into king hunting mode.
Anyway, great game.
Poor king was running for cover from one side to another side of board finally killed rest in glory Mr King
this is so much better with the digital board up there, thank you soo much
thank you for posting this game, I was looking for it yesterday!
Thanks for preserving this great game on camera
So nice to hear Giri speaking russian!!! 😁
Dubov's king to Anish's king : why are you running
Thank you! The board helps to appreciate the game!
Genial partida. Gracias Dubov por hacer homenaje a tus padres rusos del ajedrez.
I have seen Daniil in a couple of Games...and what a player. Big fan of him. Great Tal tribute...Kings of attacking chess.
ChessBaseIndia is the best in this kind of videos and this kind of coverage.
They are always there in important games, important moments, with excellent video quality too.
And the board visualization with evaluation bar makes it even better.
Thank you for your excellent work for many years
Qué partidon!,con sacrificios.gracias y Saludos.
love watching this man
Amazing chess player good luck
The reborn TAL unleashed. Anish Giri was so confused. The most enjoyable and surprising player. DUBOV!
*Dubov is monster.* 💀
Sarin, Giri, Nepo - fantastic games played by Dubov
ceremony like Magnus .
Touching all the pieces b4, the first move .
ironically many do that ritual. did you see the game Magnus showed up late to? he was down a minute or more and once they started playing he was still centering each piece after he made his move and would of course then hit his clock.
the white rooks are still in initial position .... amazing move by GM Dubov
3:03 synchronzing the distance
It was Talish from Dubov. 3 pawns down but still your opponent running for dear life
Crazy game! Dubov must've said to himself: let's go king hunting today
the way Daniil slides his rooks instead of placing his rooks is cool
Dubov is strong 💪
For those who don’t know, they speak Russian after the game. Fun fact: Anish Giri’s mother is from Russia.
yeah. i was surprised when they started to speak russian )) Giri's russian is great.
He is from Russia himself
He actually lived in Russia until 14 and received his GM title there too, so in a sense he's a Russian player but naturalized Dutch.
Modern day King hunt by Dubov 🔥🫡
That's a fantastic attack. Especially against a solid bore like Giri.
Wow amazing!
Awesome 🤯🤯🤯
Very impressive 😮😮😮
Brilliant attacking game.
Фантастическая Партия! Дубов Всегда "заточен" На Победу!
3:04 synchronized chair moves.
Truly an amazing game
1:30 Daniil Dubov lost on move 1 when he played d5, due to the touch move rule in chess. He touched his king but moved his d-pawn. GG, but of course Drawish Giri is satisfied with a draw offer so he wouldn't claim his victory.
Great game by Daniel
I hv never seen Anish so helpless...😂😂 ...what a sacrifice rook pawn and then magic starts
When I watched Dubov sacrificing one after another I was be like
WHAT THE HECK !!!!!
Really dubov has a creative talent .
Danill.. go number one chess internasional 👍👍
5:11 that's when you know you're in trouble.
Giri should have accepted the draw by repitition!
Dubov such a fearsome attacking chess player in the rapids!
3:05 synergy
The announcer must be the brother of the Diva in Fifth Element judging from the voice. Oh, and cool game!
Elo is only a number, creativity is most important
Creativity can sometimes be strong or be weak. Easy to be creative giving up all pieces and pawns. Hard to be creative and still have a strong play.
5:46 what should've been the move instead of qc5 ???
Rf1
Duvob was 3 pawns down nd still he manages to win
Nice work done
Dubov, the Shirov of this design!
Dubov trying to pull off the magnus late entrance move while the clock is ticking 😂
He even think what opening he gonna play
what language they use in their conversation ?
When I lose a game, I slam my laptop down and scream at the wall. These guys just calmly discuss what happened.
Duvob Sacrifice as Tal, until hunts King enemy! wow
Oh God I pray hard so that I can as well attack as DUBOV
Ayan pwd mo na sana itabla. Mr. tabletas pinilit mo pa.. trending ka tuloy
Невероятно!
This Dubov guy... Dark horse for everyone
So... Like Ivanchuk?
@@Alan-cm7ye actually yes. Dubov also have minimum chance to become world champion same as Ivanchuk but they both very very dangerous for everyone in KO stage of tournament.
gotta love watching dubov making chad sacrifices to have a massive assault
Dubov is so scary 😁👍💪🙏
Классная игра Даниила
Good the best👍
Dubov, the inheritor of Morozevich's fantastic attacking.
Damn Dubov is Savage!!!
could anybody tell if they were speaking Russian or English? I couldn't hear at all; perhaps if I put headphones on I may have heard.
It's russian
F***k this guy's is a beast!!! It looks effortless almost boring for him. Each of his move's a dream...
Wish I was him
Great Dany is Genius
5:51Oppositions king against dubov, here we go again..
Am I the only one who likes the clock thingy
At 04:50 why is it showing equal??? Anish has more pieces.
Because black has a better position attacking whites weak king
That's how you conduct a king hunt.
What a crush!! My gosh...
о чем они там в конце партии пистят...невозможно разобрать....Эй вы там звук получше можна делать?)))
0-0 where ?
Yo! Did Dubov miss something? Pause at 5:07. If he would've moved queen g2 check, the king is forced to e3. Then bishop h6 check. King has two moves. If he moves to d3, then bishop f5, snatching that queen! If he moves to d4, then rook f4, yet again, snatching that queen! Can anyone tell me if that would work?
Me encantaría saber que es lo que están diciendo
In Adelaide Novak Djokovic said" l respect Daniil a lot"😉
Just imagine if you could be Dubov for about a year 🤔
Giri spent 7 mins on 1 move @ 3:14 😯
Why is Anish Giri light square bishop not return back to guard castling positions and is it just hanging on the centre of the board ? 🤣 Black easily taking advantage of this situation and won it
Massive attack
0:09 Men will always be men :D
Giri's speaking russian with him by the end??
it looks like he is fluent in russian
@@dvs1867 yeah, he is fluent cause he lived for some time in his childhood in saint-petersburg
He lived in Russia and studied in Saint Petersburg where he learned chess for 15 years in his life. It's Russia where he grew as a chess player.
Yes, he speaks russian very well
Russian is his mother tongue
Now I know the reason why Magnus prefers to practice with Dubov
Super keren 😎🆒
Дубов лучший, даже если не чемпион, невероятный парень
Dubov always looks so angry when talking to other players after a match lol
