  • What a beauty and by the looks of her, she still works on a regular basis. The D7E is a true classic Caterpillar Bulldozer. This particular machine is in excellent condition with a solid sound and an undercarriage to envy, not to mention great paint and overall condition.
We hope you enjoy a solid six minutes of classic Caterpillar at work!
This comes from the Morris Leslie Working Weekend 2023 in the UK.

I ran a 7E in the Army. Tilt blade and power shift. Finally got all the water out of it and good fuel and filters and it'd snort. Ran F's after that but missed the old E. That old boy has been on that tractor more than once. Thanks

Takes an operator to know one when they see it!

Sure does. I ran 4's and 6's with a straight drive a lot. Oil master clutches. Smooth has to be smooth and I also found out why an old operator was always blading. One less bump feels a lot better.@@acmocD2

It's a pleasure to watch a very good operator! I have 1966 D7E spent around 50 years on it, never forget that sound.

Indeed, I failed to mention the skill of the operator, great to watch!

Had a 1951 D73T - non turbo, could easily push as well as that one. Same cable setup. Same blade. Nice machine!

I have a little newer version with higher horsepower and powershift tranny. It been a great machine to have on the farm.
