  • Harduf is a kibbutz
    in the Lower Galilee,in Israel.
    It is named after the plant Nerium oleander
    ( commonly known as oleander or rosebay)
    which is common in the area.
    The kibbutz was established in 1982 by followers of the theory of anthroposophy,
    They see the settlement as a cultural, educational and social center and have developed unique systems in various areas of life.
    The education in Hardorf is according to the
    Waldorf education method,
    also known as Steiner education method,
    which was developed by Rudolf Steiner.
