We don't even have a trailer to transport huge trucks, there are mods for frames that can haul trucks like implements. JOAT tires do almost nothing and most vehicles they are selling are spam. There are maps with snow, mud and rocks and we are supose to go through all of that with 4x4 trucks. A bulldozer should be doing that, there is not a single 4x4 vehicle that can survive 1 hour driving through places like Kola or Amur, snow is just impossible to drive through and even deep mud is a problem not to mention rocks. @@nunosantos00 Building roads would be fun if limited to a couple of them, but if I built roads everywhere I'd get tired of doing so much of it while simultaneously removing from my map the main thing that's fun about the game, which is the multiple kinds of very challenging driving. As for 4x4 vehicles, one of the most enjoyable things about the game is risky and challenging driving, and "how are we supposed to" go everywhere with every truck is the attitude of someone who doesn't understand that trying different choices that are more risky or even ludicrous and may require more skill to make them work can be a lot of fun. There are many tasks where little scouts are the best to use, but it can even be fun to try to do what you wouldn't think you could do with a little scout. Some 4x4s are unique in a fun way such as the Lo4f, H2, and Gor, while for the more common types, most of us will never have a chance to drive a real Zikz or even Cat, but it's fun to be able to try in the game a vehicle I could actually own someday. The biggest disappointment was actually that we weren't allowed to finish the bridge in Pineline Bay. The photo of the loading screen for Pineline Bay fooled us 😄 Similar in Oviro Hills
I've played single player throughout the base game + season 1. "Enjoyable but a little stretched" sums up my whole experience because some missions felt like were catered for multiplayer rather than single player.
Yes, That's the issue I think SR has in general, In Mudrunner, I remember multiplayer had different mission requirement than Single player...I think similar mechanics should be implemented in SR or at least in future main entry.
I’m just going to vent for a minute. But running 25+ cargos to a location is boring, bloated bs. Im doing the paper mill in Wisconsin right now and i need 18 pallets of bricks over multiple phases. Plus pipes and whatever else. It’s just exhausting.
When I start feeling bored of a region I just change to another one or run a mod map. And come back after a while. This doesn't make you feel that you MUST do the tasks instead of you WANT do it.
Personally, I enjoyed Season 12! 4! Maps that were varied and didn't take too long. The terrain wasn't too easy and not too challenging. You could also use weaker trucks again. I liked the music setting, as well as the look of all four maps. I'm very satisfied!
Overall, I was disappointed by Season 12. It felt too dense. Lots of similar cargo deliveries (you need like 50 metal beams for the region, which also have to be generated), trailer stores away from the garages, all log stations are located on the only map without a garage, big bridges stay unfixed, the NPP and the cooling towers don't look like finished when you are done with them (lots of litter still lying around). Etc, etc.
Although I haven't tried manually loading cabin but It is a craft item and if its glitched, you basically have to craft it again wasting your material...thats really annoying..
I gave up on North Carolina when, after doing all the tasks to make crafting zones into infinite storage zones(which is a neat idea) they reverted back to being crafting zones after quit and load.
The 10% fuel requirement (3:14) has been around before, and I think it was even in the base game. For sure, this requirement was in Amur on the NA map.
I'd give this an 8.5 out of 10. Some routes kinda annoyed me, couple of missing scenes and sounds like you said. Some of the minor bridge building or rock clearing missions may not have been completely necessary but still fun. I really enjoyed driving around in this map with scout vehicles along the small trails though! Also fixing the major bridges and highway sections would have been a good mission and help getting around.
I agree these maps are enjoyable and definitely time consuming with having to got between all the map for cargo. Also we need like a new fleet of trucks like they did when year one ended
I'm going to have to disagree on the nuclear theme opportunity, I don't think radiation damage would be a good idea or add any fun to the game. On the positive side, great video as always. Thank you!
There was a bug, where in a region you could see some tasks on the other map, but when you actually went on that map, the tasks become invissible, but they are actually still there
Hopefully the good trucks coming out now means they'll finally bring out another region that actually has a little bit of a challenge. Amur and that region was one of the best so far
A bridge that would be worth fixing? Feels like Imandra. I still do not understand why they have to keep areas with removed obstacles annoying by not removing the signs and all the rocks, some are still the size of half of your tyre. Older maps could really use some attention too.

Is it just me or this season is worst and most boring among the other ones? Maps weren't special in any way. The road system has an awful design leading to focus deliveries on only main routes. 75% percent of driving in North Carolina was just repeative and unenjoyable. It was the only season that I beat to achieve full completion not for fun, but to do every task and finally leave it alone wishing never come back... Something wrong is happening to this franchise
