Love it.
Unstoppable doesn't protect you from a correctly placed Maw. It keeps you from being pulled toward the center, but if it is centered on you, you are still "Maw-ed." Maw counts as a "Stasis" or a "Vehicle" so "Unstoppable" does not apply.
Pally, I played against you in one of your DVa games and lost as Anduin. The game came down to the wire. It was a pleasure. Keep up the good work, my man.

Yes, action queuing has been in the game since beta. Although how you managed to press shift+R+E without your hands on the keyboard is another mystery entirely.

Loving this A-Z, Pally! If I could offer some advice, use your defense matrix on Illidan while he's dodging auto attacks. Keep up the great work!

Editing: if you have a lot of squish to defend and the other team has a lucio or brightwing, talenting into defense matrix can be a real game changer. Reduce damage, deny healing, slow, and self heal can make d.va a nightmare.
Would you say a lot of females play her or am I way off base?
@@PersianGamer36 I have no idea and wouldn't know where to begin to find that out. I go through phases where I play her more than others but I'm definitely not a dva main
so glad you got a chance to show off pilot D.Va near the end, almost nuking that Illidan! I wish that weird bug didn't happen earlier at the shrine.

Yes "queuing" your actions is a thing, just hold "Shift" while selecting your actions. Great for channeling, if you queue the channel several times you'll start channeling if interrupted with no delay.

I haven't played D.Va yet, but she's on my to-play list. I've looked up some talent combos (as thinking up builds is my favorite part of any given game) and I kinda think that for your playstyle the Matrix talent at lvl7 might be good too.
Not so much for the Nuke loadup, but for the passive increase to your Mech AA cannons.

Hey Pally. One tip for D.Va is you can matrix a Kaelthas after he Pyro's, and as long as you have it on him when it hits the target, it does reduced damage of the Pyro. :)

Anytime either team is engaging, especially if you don't have a good Q opportunity, it can really help your team to use matrix and basically negate their initial damage and keep your team alive for the follow up. Or as peel if someone is getting focused or dived on.
i would recommend defense matrix when you don't have your other buttons to peel for allies. Also, you could attempt throwing your bomb into enemies by q'ing before you e. Great videos Pally!

I hope when you get to Probius you have a look at his ability to play aggressive, so many people think he is bad & can't do anything. Yet when I play him, I play aggressive & control a lane, fortify a group fight & no one expects it. It can be really fun.

Defensive matrix is tough, because if you don't deal damage you at some point lose. It is a leap of faith - that any damage or cc you could provide is worth less than the damage mitigated. I think it is best with organized team, or where you can catch some ults in it!

I've never found defensive matrix useful, unless you can put it on someone casting a big ult.
Got the chance to play against you while you were practising and it was so great to see you play.

D. Va is one of my mains and I very rarely use Defensive Matrix. There are builds around it but I don't think that the ability it's self is really worth sacrificing your dps.
I also use Bunny Hop in situations where we have objectives where the enemy team is grouped. Otherwise I use Micro Misses and I've found they're pretty good at getting kills on Zagara or when other heroes are low and retreating. Use the R, get some damage and a slow in and then boop em and aa to secure the kill
Def matrix can work, but I found myself not doing it very often since def matrix relies on your teammates actually doing something during def matrix. Her def matrix build in general is OP af in team fights if the enemy lacks cc and your team is good enough to take advantage of taking less damage, dealing more damage, enemy not getting healed, and slow.

You can also get the camps without need of that, jsut by positioning correctly in between two of them.

With comms and a good teamate guiding you it is actually a great talent. Can also be good if you have decent predictive skills on the where they may be, failing that it still makes for decent zone control / area denial.
I don't think I've ever seen a dva game that actually made her look fun. I have always just thought of her as totally useless but that's probably because I haven't seen her since the last a-z haha great game and you made her look like a ton of fun!
16-3 now following your builds. This isn't how I usually play her and needed a practice match to get a feel for what I should be doing differently but once I got it she felt great again
NGL wouldn't mind seeing you play some ranked on D. Va. you looked good on her.

Yo yo Pally... just a head's up, Zag's MAW can interrupt unstoppable moves (DVA BHop or Hogger Hog Wild for example).

I swear you take the most baffling talent choices, but it always pays off lol. I use a ton of defense matrix talents, to reduce healing and add slow etc.. basically building for a more support-y role, but then again I only play with friends :P

His choices only seem baffling because he chose them to fit his play-style, instead of changing his play-style to fit the 'Meta' talent choices. Far better strategy, imo.
@@ikkiville nah that's not it, from the few episodes I've seen he adapts the "meta" to his playstile but very rarely adapts his builds to counterplay their enemy team, or to synergize better with his teammates. In all honesty is not that big of a deal since he is a skilled enough player to make it work anyway

Why don't u ever use the W? U get E charges so easy against AA like valla etc. Also u can use ur Q and E combined so the mech moves in the same it will explode. Let's say u are chasing enemies down u can charge it after them

I use to love dva. But I haven't played heros for years.
I didn't really like dva, even after the rework, but this build with its ability to take camps looks pretty fun, I wanna try it now
