Hi, thanks for the great video. I have just download graphics app to create planner sticker kit. When I am trying to draw a rectangle, it’s size shows up on the screen as px. How can I change it to inches? Thx
So helpful! I made a bunch of text “stickers” and was TOO inspired and did all 40 in 2 fonts (I was watching the truly yours overview!). I want all the word stickers in my planner as separate stickers not as one big file. Do you have any tricks for big batches? Do you export to one large file then import and hand do this? Or is there some easier way? If it’s for a new planner, do you just include it in your original pdf? Sooo many questions! I want it to be easy on the daily use side!
You can save them a few different ways! Since I do all of my planning in Procreate, I prefer using sticker sheets... which would include saving all of the words on one page with a transparent background. If you're using GoodNotes, then you could import individually a few different ways. You could save them as a sticker sheet, then bring into GoodNotes and crop each sticker. Or, if each word is in a separate text box, you could select one text box at a time in Graphic, copy it, then paste it into GoodNotes one by one. Or, finally, you could type one word at a time, and save each word one at a time to your camera roll -- then import them individually into GoodNotes from your camera roll! =)
Instead of using the Home button on the older iPad Pros set up Assistive Touch so that you can have the option of Screen Shot right from a button. This way you’re not fumbling with the buttons.
Thank you for this wonderful video. I am new to digital planning and am trying to absorb all the information I can. I have GoodNotes and Procreate already. Do I find the color-hex app in the app store and what is the exact name of the graphics program. Again, is it in the App Store? I learned so much as you explained everything so well.
Hi Nikki! The app that I use in this video is called Graphic, and it can be purchased in the App Store! Color hex is a website. I don’t believe they have an app. Here’s the link: color-hex.com Best of luck on your digital planning journey!! Feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions! 😃
Thanks for your great tutorial! I don't have this app, but I am familiar with many tools from Photoshop. I believe you should be able to use the "dropper" tool that appears in the top right corner of your color palette. Just use that to sample the color you want, instead of having to enter the numeric code. This would save you tons of time if you're entering many different colors.
Yes, that’ll definitely work if you pull in a picture of the color palette first, like I do in the second example. I usually just type the hex codes on my phone and reference that, so I’m so used to using the hex codes in graphic. But thanks for pointing this out because it is definitely a great alternative for anyone that pulls in a picture of their color palette! 😀
How do you save your image that you designed in Keynote to a 300 DPI image vs 72 DPI? Some of my stickers that I have created in Keynote and pull into Good notes end up being distorted. Help please because I’ve been trying to figure this out for like a week lol.
As far as I know, there's no way to save anything from Keynote at 72 DPI. The only way I know to work around any pixelation issues is to change your master slide to a fairly large size, then create your image as large as possible -- that way, when you bring it into GoodNotes, you can shrink it down rather than size it up, so it won't pixelate.
@@NapTimeAlternative I was saying to save as 300 DPI because doesn't Keynote automatically save the PNG as 72 dpi? I know the PDF saves as 300 but not the png. Hopefully that made sense.
@@lanitalovely5665 It makes sense! Unfortunately, there's no way to save anything from Keynote as a PNG or JPEG at 300 DPI. Even on a computer when you select to save it as a high-resolution image, it still saves at 72 DPI.
Absolutely! You can use quick shapes to draw out the rectangles. They won't be as symmetrical as the shapes in Graphic, but it can definitely be done! =)
You can! If you make it in Procreate, it’ll have a hand drawn look because they only have quick shapes. You can make a symmetrical checklist in Keynote using the shapes tool 😊
I’ve been able to follow all your videos to a “t” and for some reason, I cannot get my rectangles to fill with the colors or the outline. I made sure my arrow is selected but I have no idea what’s going on.
I’m so sorry, I just saw this comment! It sounds like that could be an issue with the app. Did you try restarting the app or your iPad? If that didn’t work, it might be a bug in the latest version of graphic.
Thx for the your time and explaining the process I am a new Subscriber and currently planning with Happy Planner but I'm curious about digital planning 😊💞
Just the video I needed! Thank you.

Thank you. What is the name of the app you used? Could you have did all of this in procreate? I a new to digital.
You can use the eye dropping tool which would have saved you ALOT of time.
What size do you make the squares

You are just really good at explaining! Thank you for the video!
Would it work to use the "eye dropper" tool to select each of your colors? (Then you wouldn't need the hex codes!)
Yes, you can use the eyedropper!

Yes, on the older iPads with the home button you use that and the power button for a screenshot. :)

@@NapTimeAlternative Let me try that. Thank you!
Nap Time Alternative It worked! Thank you!
Great as always.
How come I don’t have those tools option on the left? 😥
Go to the gear icon in the upper righthand corner and make sure the toolbar is turned on. =)
Thanks! I would love more tutorials that use graphic. I don’t find that app very user friendly but I know it’s capable of great things
Thx for the your time and explaining the process I am a new Subscriber and currently planning with Happy Planner but I'm curious about digital planning 😊💞
Thank you! I’m new to Procreate and GoodNotes so this helped me import stuff from Procreate into GoodNotes!!!! I’m excited now on how to use this!!!!
pro trick: you can watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies lately.
Colourlovers.com is great for picking colors and finding pretty pallets. I used to use it when I designed websites. Very helpful!
check it out the app👍💖💖💖
I definitely will!
