The music is usually broadcast through some speakers they set up in their front yards. At least it was 2 years ago, when my neighbor up the street had their Christmas lights set up to the Manhein Streamroller Orchestra music. They had a sign in their yard telling you which frequency to tune into on your car radio to start the light show. Maybe it's the same or maybe they've come up with something fancier by now. :)
Of the four videos of the Halloween Light show houses I've seen featuring Gangnam Style this year, my vote for the most intense and most dramatic goes to this one!

Kinda hypocritical to say, considering this house is nothing but repetitive animations. Either way, you don't have a light show, & never will. This guy uses what we call "pixels" or if he's with LOR, "Cosmic Color Ribbon". It's one of the most expensive things right now for lighting wise on simple light shows. Not to mention this house copied the house-lighting idea from the original person, /user/KJ92508, that started this trend! But ya know, "no disrespect", or anything.

the lighting and timing is perfect for the song, i would have used the purple one instead of the green one...
