- I picked up these beat up Reebok Classics and wanted to see if I could make them look new again. In this video I will show you how I went about restoring these shoes. Thank you for making this video! I've always wanted to know how to clean my Club Cs, but had never found such an informative video until now. Why were there cracks in the paint on the shoes? Do all leather shoes need to be re-painted after they're cleaned and washed? Or did these shoes have cracks in their paint to begin with?
The cracks were in the paint not the leather and they just happened over time. Sometimes you can take very fine grit sandpaper and carefully go over cracks to minimize them if they are actually in the leather. It is not necessary to repaint shoes like these after they’ve been washed. If the paint is properly sealed you should be good to go. It’s been so long since I made this video I’m not sure if I showed how to seal the paint. Just give them a good coat of Krylon matte finish. It comes in a can like spray paint.

No the reshoven8r kit costs only a fraction of the shoes also that weren’t used to the point to where they needed to be replaced
