You have a very good eye for color. And you're right about starting with an inspiration fabric. But here's a hack for beginners. Look on the salvage for those colored dots they use in the printing process. Those are the colors used in your inspiration piece. Use those dots to pick out which green matches or will that pink go with that green. 💖🌞🌵😷
If you really don't want to mount the cross stitch yourself, take it to a frame shop. Or a craft/sewing store that has a frame department. And let them mount your canvas in a frame. Here's why I took mine to a frame store... Sometimes embroidery threads and yarns bleed and colors run and when buying a kit you don't know. Now, that kit company you showed has been in business forever. So I have some faith in them, but I didn't want to risk it. I took my canvases to a professional framer and have never been disappointed. One thing to decide is glass or no glass. Be firm in your decision, because if you want glass covering your canvas, they'll try to talk you out of it. But I live in a very dry climate and have never regretted getting glass in my frames. I have so many collections that I had no idea what I wanted to do and afraid to cut them. My first inspiration for EPP was from Kate The last lonely house, but you showed me how and what to do. Thank you for your videos and inspiration.
I have created my own cross stitch patterns by just drawing on the fabric with #2 pencil. Have fun with it. My best one was a Japanese woman holding an umbrella, 3 years working on it everyday.

Second, by putting into practice what I've been learning from Dr. Morse. It hasn't been easy. But with God, ALL things are possible, including overcoming old self-destructive habits. I've always been fascinated by the intricacies of geometric design and even wondered if I could try my hand at EPP with an M C Escher type of design. I enjoy smaller projects rather than large quilts. I have made many quilts, given away many more and most people will not pay enough to make it worth my while to sell them. I would love to see some ideas for adding EPP elements to zippered pouches or totes or even as art. I have been making a lot of fabric collage wall art (for gifts and for sale), but we sometimes need a break and EPP is my go to. Looking forward to seeing you on your next video. Great question @sharoncaladino9243. There are several things you could try to help prevent and relieve wrist pain from stitching. For prevention, one thing I highly recommend is using clips, sewtites, or magnetic needleminders to help hold your pieces together. With the aid of a holder, your hands won't have to work so hard keeping your pieces in place. For relief, you could try putting a cold pack on your wrists after stitching. Also, slowly circling your hand around will help stretch all the many tiny muscles in your wrist. Hope these ideas help you! I'll think of more and put them into a video. :D
Another idea for the extra threads would be a few flowers on the pocket of your jeans. I have wanted to do that for such a long time. I like all of your designs but I am still working on hexies. I feel like I need to really get those before I move on.
Have you ever sewed the EPP by machine? I am a new subscriber and I am struggling with hand sewing. I want to get better I just want to explore all my options.
