Good one man!!, this kind of places reminds me of that video you were fishing walleyes and catfishes under a bridge. there's some magic on going roaming right? Loved it.
Always enjoy watching your videos, man. Good tips and good quality. I'd love some more catch 'n cooks to see how you do it! Especially with bluegill/crappie and some bass.
I noticed that the fish in this video were kind of on the small side? It would take 20 of them to make a dozen. LOL! The way you go about fishing reminds me of the way I fished in my younger years with the exception of the Hi-Tech gear! Thanks for bringing past enjoyable memorys up!
Check to see what Side you caught pan fish, maybe North or East????Great video, lotsa fun, and always play a Point..In line spinners, small swim baits, and finesse worms on ultra lights are fun
Interesting. Inline spinners seem to produce right now when other things don't get much attention. Only fish I caught on my last 1-2 hour session was on a green cicada rooster tail.
I literally did this yesterday! But the parking lot was private, no fishing sign was posted, I walked over and the whole pond was only six inches deep. Doh! I failed, but enjoyed watching you win.
That look so fun and I would normally grant access to anyway who wants to fish on my pond, but without permission it’s trespassing and I personally can’t condone that. Respect the landowner
I am so nervous about trout fishing on the 18th of April, when it opens. with all this sickness going on in this world. i know we have to stay at least 7 feet away from each other, however no body is going to listen. well i will listen that's if I go. awesome video here
did you ever fish n catch big muskey on a stormy day with a top water lure, like a Zara Spook? Red head/white body. reel it in fast...it makes them furious. or a buzz bait, they'll smash that lure.
I've fished ponds and impoundments in my area that remind me of this one.. Those bass are possibly all "cookie cutter" size like that cause they may be overpopulated??... They may be mature bass, breeding age, but with so much competition for food, over time their growth has plateaued out. This same thing happened several local dama around here. They are absolutely chock full of largemouth, but most are around 12-14 in.. When i was a kid the same dam produced 20 inchers on the regular, but access was limited and the fish severely overpopulated.. Food for thought anyway?? Stay safe, tight lines from Mineral County WV!!
You're probably right. It was my first time fishing there so I can't say for sure. Maybe there are some big ones in there. Thanks for watching and commenting. Stay safe and tight lines!
Inline spinners are GREAT bass lures, and why people think theyre only for trout is beyond me. Ive caught some of my biggest bass on inline spinners with skirts
thats beautiful. How is that in the states like private ponds? here in chile is forbidden not to grant access to any source of NATURAL water. Are those pond artificial? Thatks for sharing (especialy during qarentine)
Private businesses usually own the land that the pond is on. But there were no "private" or "no trespassing" signs. It was a man made pond. Most likely made for flood control and rain runoff.

Enjoyed the video! I guess you were never bothered by anyone, and the lake and area was not posted to keep out?
Thanks! I didn't see anyone. No posted signs. It looked like a pretty popular fishing spot. There was a trail around it and a ton of trash :(
Awesome job buddy! Amazing what the internet can do these days!

I love using Google Maps to find potential fishing spots. Having satellite mapping software makes life a lot easier.
