Hi there! Just wanted to ask, i'm willing to buy DDJ FLX6, can you give me your feedback about this controller? How it is? What are the pros and cons. Thanks in advance
@@elturgasimov8412 hey! It’s been great for me so far! I love that it has both a booth and master output. The fact that these are RCA and not XLR haven’t bothered me as I use mine exclusively at home. The 4 channel mixer is great for the times when I need that third deck (in rekordbox). If there’s one thing I’d like that’s on a higher end controller like the ddj1000, it would be the easy access to fx and specifically all of the hardware fx which are easily accessible. Generally, I think the reviews I’ve seen online are way too harsh, and as long as you have realistic expectations, you’re going to be super happy with it! Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions as you make your decision!
@@Ronniezim Thank you for the comment. Yes reviews are a little bit harsh. That's why i am so confused xD Anyways it will be my first controller, so from the entry level controllers i think that this option is the best one. In my opinion it is better than ddj 400 and other budget controllers. Most probably i will get Flx6 as soon as possible
@@elturgasimov8412 Ronnie’s advice is spot on, it’s a really good entry level controller with lots of capability given it’s less than $1000, easy to transition to if you’re experienced with the DDJ 400, and will allow you to make a smooth transition up to another 4 channel mixer in the future.
@@elturgasimov8412 Guess I'm a few months late but the harsh reviews you don't have to worry as a beginner DJ: 1, Build quality: Doesn't matter if you're just practicing in your bedroom. 2, Inputs/Outputs: Don't worry if you're not playing gigs. 3, Just blue, no RGB pads: Who gives a sync!!
This mix is FIRE🔥 Listening to this as i am Driving around in games is the best just makes me wanna drive even Faster Keep up with the mixes Great Worker!
You can use a RUclips to mp3 converter site or you can use Beatport for higher quality audio files. I recommend Beatport or some other DJ pool for the best quality audio, but if you absolutely don’t want to spend anything you can just use a YT mp3 converter.
I’ve used it at numerous parties, but shows though often have their own equipment you can use, especially clubs, premier clubs have their own DJ equipment, usually just a pair of CDJ’s and a DJM
Good question. I’ll usually increase or decrease those going off of the loudness of the previous track, sometimes here and there I’ll boost a level on a track that needs to be near the same as the last track. Most times though, adjusting the gain is enough.
@@Iamennomic 9 out of 10 tracks my levels are 1 2 3 oclocks channel one to 4 most of yours are set 12 to 5 past i know when you pay or download there is going to be some latency in sound at least
whats your computer set up? im considering these decks but i have a macbook without the microphone in/output needed (usually i have used a soundcard adapter through a mixer), do you know if it will still record high quality since there isnt a rec out slot? otherwise it sounds like a zoom call haha
I have an HP Pavilion, and to record I use the built in recording feature on Rekordbox, and to film I just use my phone. Once I’m finished I sync the audio recording with the video in a video editor.
@@Iamennomic yeah the problem is i have a macbook pro that doesn't have a mic input so generally won't record straight in (most irritating thing ever would never have bought it if i knew at the time) so need the external interface. would love to just try it out but its a lot of money and hassle for it not to work. hopefully someone see's this comment and has an answer for me :)
Since RUclips couldn’t recognize some of the tracks and put them in the description, here’s the full list Mark Knight, Darious Syrossian, Prospect Park - Get This Feeling Junior Jack - Stupidisco (Jaylon Petch Remix) Voost - Sometimes It Hurts DJ Dan, Block & Crown - The Crowd Said Dance Hott 22 - Make Up Your Mind Discotron, Disko Junkie - I Need Your Lovin’ Guz - You Saw Me Guz - Kush SIDEPIECE, Diplo - On My Mind Moreno Pezzolato - We Got You Mr Jay, Paul Bleasdale - Piano Life Darious Syrossian, George Smeddles - Down With It
The DDJ FLX6 is compatible with Rekordbox and Serato. If you’re looking for a good controller to use with Traktor for about the same price, I’d recommend the Native Instruments Traktor Control S3.
@@Iamennomic I think it now is with the new firmware. The drivers are listed for it on the support page. Great Mix!. I have the same controller. I see a ton of reviews saying how overpriced it is. I really like mine. I am very happy with it.
@@jessemackenzie6516 same here man, I take mine to almost all my gigs. The new FLX6 GT should have more software options than rekordbox and Serato. You can even Bluetooth it to a smart device and dj with that.
I can’t seem to record my sets off the FLX6 it gives me a error saying I need to download every song, are you using like SoundCloud or tidal to play ur tracks or did u download all ur tracks in this set to ur laptop?
Good question. I download all my tracks into Rekordbox as MP3’s. I download most of them from Beatport, some unreleased ones are sent to me from connections I have, others you can find on RUclips, but downloading MP3’s from RUclips lowers the bitrate of the audio. I record my sets with the built in recording feature, and film it with my phone, then sync them up together in a video editing software.

hows the jog feel? is it heavy like cdj 1000 or what?
To me it feels very similar. Maybe slightly lighter lighter
Can we use ddj flx6 for out door live big shows
