Hey- the potatoes look great! For the broadfork, something that really made it easier for me was to start at the front and “work back” rather than stepping forward each time. That way you don’t have to worry at all that you are stepping right into the section that you just loosened/decompacted! Of course it doesn’t really matter- but that just helped me!
Looking great 😊! Keep up the hard work… it will pay off. I planted 15 pounds of potatoes. This is my first year really doing alot of them. Hopefully we will end up with 100s of pounds of potatoes 😅.
May I suggest staggering your potatoe placement and moving them more towards the center of your bed. More like a tilted diamond or honeycomb pattern. 💪🙂👍
i struggle growing carrots, actually struggle is not the right word , i can't grow them!. Carrots refuse to grow for me....i try and try and out of an 8 ft row....i might get two. Going to try the wood overtop this year and cross my fingers!!!!

Okay, this is BRILLIANT! Thank you!!! I'm still a newbie to heavy clay soil over here :)
Yep, you will dial the broad forking in. Lookout clay soil!
The planting of the carrots was Zen. It reminds me of why I like gardening so much. Thanks for a great video.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! ☺️
Nice color for those purple potatoes.
They are gorgeous! 🤩
Good morning from Forest lake Minnesota!! Looking great!!
Good morning!!! Thanks, Pat!
That broad fork is the cat's meow!
One of my fav tools!!!
Lots of comments to help the channel.
I appreciate it so much 🫶🏼
The garden beds look amazing.
Thank you!!!
👍🤠 still soggy ground up where I'm at! Presently filling in some new raised beds.

Hello from Saint Paul !
Hi there!

I was debating that as I was laying them out! I'll likely try alternating next year. We'll see! Thanks!
I so wished I’d waited for this video before I started my potatoes! Being impatient can be a bad thing…🤦🏼♀️ugh and doht
Shoot! At least you know now for next year! 🙌🏼
Your hand makes a fine rake. ha ha
Love playing in the dirt 😆

Covering the seeds should help! Good luck!!
So, what's the book name?
Ooooh goodness - thank you for asking! I forgot to add that link. Here it is: geni.us/AmazonVegetableBible
Opps I just put the whole potato with the sprout in the garden will it still work
Yep, it'll still work. You'll just likely get smaller potatoes since they'll be crowded.
💚👍
So happy gardening season is here!
