    I personally think sleep EXP bonus will be incredibly good once the max level goes above 50

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +5

      Actually it should be more useful at lower levels because 14 extra exp everyday is a fixed increase but exp requirement goes up every level. It's not like helping speed where you farm a percentage of 14% faster providing you with a scaled amount of boost.

  • @Beginnerss
    @Beginnerss 6 месяцев назад +1

    In short:
    Berry Finder S, Helping Bonus and Helping Speed M for everyone (assuming everyone else also has Helping Bonus, so you get to 34% helping speed increase).
    No Ingredient finder or large Inventories for Berry specialists.
    Skill Triggers for Skill specialists and maybe a bit more inventory.
    Ingredient Finders for Ingredient specialists IF they have usable ingredients and large inventories.

    • @Bropenings

      Good summary. But it's all still case by case dependent. Absol needs way more inventory than every other pokemon for example.

      Cacao is the strongest non-rare ingredient. I honestly don't want that many apples. It's just gonna get dumped for Dream shards. So the only thing it could've had was mushroom at L60. I'd say you're doing great.

    Inventory being a good thing on berry specialists when the week changes over is a good point. That is, if they ever fix the darn glitch that makes your Pokémon have a near empty inventory on Monday morning... It happened to me last Monday so it's still a thing.

    This is a great list. Been playing since the beginning and I agree with everything. If anything , on the skill types I would swap places between skill level up and inventory up. Need to have inventory space in order to trigger skill, and main skill can be levels up using seeds. Great work.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +2

      Gameplay style such as how frequently someone logs in can change the tiering.
      I would say if you can get inventory up by evolution, login frequently to clear inventory, then inventory up is less important. Also with enough skill trigger chance, and hopefully skill trigger nature as well, you may not need that much inventory.

    • @fanstard1
      @fanstard1 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@Bropenings l agree. Also, like you stated with the ingredient types A pkmn that cannot evolve will get a lot more benefit from inventory up than one that you get from evolving.

    Great video as always, congratz on that BFS rock, im still looking for one.
    Quick note, I think the Meta would be having a really good variety of mons that do the same job but change a little bit so you could them in different situations. For example if you have a Gulpin that farms 1 mushroom is enough to cover for the Dish Soft potato Chowder and if its favorite berry and gives you Dreams shards then maybe is better to have that than a Ghastly. What I mean is that a variety even of the same mon, is a good a addition to your box, for ex a Blast with BFS but ing nat down but with a high rate of skill proc and another Blast with all ing up boost, both have good utility in different situations. This videos are great to know what to search for in the best mon but maybe you can talk about how variety will benefit your pkmn box in the long run, just saying =)

    • @cretinousmartyr3522
      @cretinousmartyr3522 7 месяцев назад +2

      Most of the points you make are great for more advanced or experimental players. Cant get behind anyhing about Gulpin being usefulbfor anything though, it's utter trash.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +3

      Gulpin is x1 mushroom at L30 and Gengar is x4. I'd not use gulpin.
      I'd say variety is good if all your helpers do variety and you can get the right balance to complete a specific dish.
      But it's harder to decide who to bring every week as the level 60 cap becomes unlocked when they all have variety. It's a very simple decision if your pokemon are focussed on one ingredient though. If I need mushrooms, I prefer my gengar to drop only mushrooms at L30 and 60. If I need herbs, I'll have to swap in another gengar that only drop herbs at L30 and 60.
      It's always a disappointment when you get mushrooms while waiting for herbs and vice versa. Then you end up keeping an ingredient pokemon on the field for too long when you could be running a berry specialist instead.

    • @fabianhm77
      @fabianhm77 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@cretinousmartyr3522 i agree it was a extreme example, the scenario it when you already are using gulpin/swallot and how it does give your 1 mushroom then you can use it for that dish so you wont have to include another poke for that, Im not advicing for gulpin, it is a bad mon for now hahaha

    • @fabianhm77
      @fabianhm77 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@Bropenings yes I agree but what i wanted to say its that you want more than just perfect mons, if course charz with BFS and ingr boost would be ideal, but another char with BFS and skill boost could be more useful in some scenarios, anyway not trying to generate any controversy =]

      For berries it's easy.
      Speed up ingredient down nature
      Bfs
      Helping bonus
      Helping speed
      If you are maxing out speed the swap helping speed with anything that helps your quality of life. For some people that's sleep exp, for others team sleep energy recovery up, and maybe even dream shards bonus
      But generally berry mon are the most straight forward. More berries and fewer ingredients

    • @Bropenings

      Good idea but it'll be situational to every species (except for berry build like Neanderthal said)

  • @firedragon17
    @firedragon17 7 месяцев назад +1

    Had no idea extra speed capped at 35% increase. To confirm - no Pokemon can get 14% + 7% + 5% +20%?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      Just checking your numbers first:
      Nature speed of help is only 10%
      Helping bonus we can choose to add 5 or 25 (if your entire team is helping bonus)
      Nature should be multiplied to subskills
      Nature is not believed to be capped by the same 35% (only sub skills)

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      In other words, no one can go above 35% on sub skills even if you have 14+7+25=46%

  • @seda_11
    @seda_11 7 месяцев назад +1

    Good to see you didn’t leave BFS off the top tier for ing/skill mons, too many people rank it low because of the slight negatives to total ing/skill production. But the power provided by doubling your berries for the day is simply too strong.

    • @seda_11
      @seda_11 7 месяцев назад +1

      Few other comments:
      -BFS isn't quite a 50% boost on berry mons unless you are sneaky snacking all the time, since you need to factor in their ing% ratio. If you are picking up drops then it is more like a 40% increase, or 45% for favored berry
      -Sleep EXP still contributes towards the 500 EXP for the bonus handy candy on capped level mons, so it's always useful to some extent
      -Skill level up is still good for premium players because you can't get enough main seeds to fund lv6 main skill on all pokemon, it lets you spend those seeds on other mons without waiting several months for shop resets
      -Dream shard bonus is probably fine in neutral but it is useful to save up shards for 2x candy EXP events now
      -I rate inventory a bit lower than BFS/HB/HSM on most ing mons but it's very much species dependent
      TBH the "neutral" tier should probably be renamed to "fine" since some of these skills don't really belong in "good" but are still better than nothing, overall the lists make sense though and are pretty agreeable.
      Also good shout about the calculator at 17:30, I wish they left total strength as the default PR setting.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      BFS is 50% improvement on berry strength or like you said total strength if constantly sneaky snacking (minus strength from skills)
      Sleep exp isnt bad, but would be better to be another skill in a tier above it imo. 500 exp for 3 candies (75 exp) is really not much. If exp were so important to you, it's numerically better to just raise a pokemon who hasn't made L50 instead.
      Inventory can move around a bit depending on situation. I'm constantly on max ing bag so I'd prefer my BFS ing mons to be doing berries instead. So yes it would swap the 2 skills around. However if you are desperate for a certain ingredient, say, mushrooms. If you want your gengar to just focus mushrooms (esp if it isn't favorite for berry week) then inventory is more important.
      And don't forget absol example I provided.

    Sleep xp is even better on berry specialists since at max level you can farm candies for rare mons while still maxing out your drowsy power

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      The Candy amount is 3 candies for every 500 exp which is equivalent to only 75 exp. You're better of levelling up a pokemon you haven't reached max level yet based purely on numbers.

      @SuperSupper2 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@Bropenings sure, if you have a mon that matches that area and you don't care about raising snorlax anymore

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@SuperSupper2 but raising another pokemon who hasn't reached L50 means you care about another snorlax at a later point.

    • @SuperSupper2
      @SuperSupper2 7 месяцев назад +1

      @Bropenings and you can farm more candies by seeing higher tier sleep styles, getting more dreamshards and effective xp for mons, since having them in the party only accounts for about 4 candies per night. If you want to train something like larvitar, you're better off just trying to see more of their sleep styles.
      I guess what it really comes down to is "do you want to play effectively or for fun?" Because the most effective way to play is to only ever catch totodile, cyndaquil, and spheal and run 5 for each island.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      I mostly agree with you except that the most efficient way is to get all dish types to L51 first before running max berry specialist teams so you will always have the strongest dishes even if they aren't the strongest recipes.

    does anybody actually have enough main skill seeds to consider SLUS/SLUM as neutral? im not F2P (not a whale either) and i find these extremely useful, because main skill seeds are basically only one per month. even if you bought bundles that contain them you barely get any. they're a luxury.

    • @seda_11
      @seda_11 7 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah this was an oversight I think, most mons need 3-4 main seeds to get level 6 main skill and you only get 12 of them per year in the shop, maybe 18 if we assume they keep doing bundles and such. But that's only enough for lv6 main skill on around 5-6 mons per year, definitely need some of them to have skill level up

    • @PlushiePoogle
      @PlushiePoogle 7 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not fully F2P either, I don't buy diamonds/bundles but I do have the Premium pass.
      Been playing since late July, never spent a main skill seed so far and currently only have 4 of them. So yea, I'd only spend them on absolute Godtier Pokémon 😂
      And even then, they'd have to have a useful main skill, like ingredient magnet.
      I have a Gastly and Larvitar that'd both be pretty much 100% perfect if only they got the correct ingredients 😭 But their main skills are not that interesting and they can already evolve twice anyway, so I wouldn't waste seeds on either of them even if they got the ingredients I wanted.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      Once a month, plus achievements, and bundles. I've spent the seeds wisely and maxed out 2 of my most frequently used helpers Wigglytuff and Walrein (both evolved from base evo stage) and still have spare few seeds atm.
      Using them wisely is key.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  7 месяцев назад +1

      As I've explained the value of SLUM/SLUS varies depending on your situation, but once you reach max level there's no value in them anymore. The level cap could be raised in the future which makes them relevant again.
      Thinking about SLUM/SLUS is the same as thinking about skills that are capped like sleep exp bonus when you're L50. It provides no benefit at max level. It may take time to get to max level or the max may get raised, but the tiering will vary depending on the stage of your gameplay. I've demonstrated changes in tiering as a result of these considerations. I've made this video just to show that otherwise the charts themselves would have sufficed without a video.
      Example: I have SLUM on my wiggly at L100 which I've ignored and just spent main seeds on to reach L6 now. SLUM is not valuable at this point to me and I'd rather unlock another skill instead.

    • @TuckerLeRat
      @TuckerLeRat 7 месяцев назад +2

      yea in my case, I have maxed out a wigglytuff and ampharos. probably next is espeon. so basically, my best MSS candidates are by far the ones with E4E or charge strength M. I reckon once i'm done maxing those out, i'll be maxing my most commonly used farmers. but each of those three I have SLUM on and have helped propel them into viability faster, and will get me to max out other things quicker as well
