another killer backing track, added it to my "good jams" playlist not 15 seconds into jamming. stuck around for the guitar solo and vibed out for another fun minute.
Hey love the fact that you show your solo at the end of this track. Good example of simple, not flashy, listening to the music and complementing it. It's tempting for younger players to think that you need to fill every space with notes when all the greats know it's all about filling every note with space around them so you can feel each notes emotion. Top video and playing 😁
Hi (again) Andy ! This is the track I was waiting for ..... a long time ! Just great, Delta Blues and what a quality again. It is definitly on my list for the next shopping on your site. Thanks for your work !
I am sure there was a point in your end jam where one finger was bending up and the other finger was bending down at the same time bloody amazing playing and control . I look forward to practising over it. thanks for the exellent content. cheers sir
I was doing my impro., enjoying, and then at 9:09 ~bruh~ (you made my day twice with this solo ... it sound amazing, full of emotions...) Keep going ! [road to 100k subs. 🤘🤟]
dam this one is great bro or sis lol . i love it , makes me want to jam out with my step grandfather . he enabled me to become a guitar player by buying me guitars and being awesome with me , fun fact he grew up with Santana in tj before he was famous . ;) he even showed me pictures ;thanks for your jam tracks
@@ausher 5 more days without my gear man.... And you do this... We are on the road.. Some issues came along though the fakn virus, or what ever it is... It is 20:00h here.. I will make a Diddley Bow until midnight and go through your whole "library" ! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣 I dont care any more, Gotta do something... Didnt play for 11 days.. Of to broom cutting lol
Brother......I think I'm buying a gretsch after watching your lead. That thing sounds awesome! My buddy had I think I Jet (not sure if yours is one) and he had 10 guitars les pauls SG's, old TV double cuts and the Gretsch was the best sounding one out of all of them and I was blown away by that.......Next guitar for sure.
It’s a really great guitar! I’ve been really happy with it! One thing to note is I did upgrade the pickups to Blackcat Filterons from ‘The Creamery - Manchester’ - did give the whole guitar an extra bit of bite! 🎸🎶🎶
❤ Love this backing track! And the 😮solo😮 at the end is how I want - and will practice, practice, practice - to be able to play. Is there a Guitar Pro compatible transcription of the solo that I can purchase either on Bandcamp or on your Patreon page? Thanks!
Ahhh nooo! Keep practising and you’ll get there! My advice is: - try a few solos playing just 3/4 notes of the Blues scale . - Rhythm is everything. - then try mixing in minor and major scales . So hammer on from a G to a G# , you’ll get a nice bluesy sound 🎸🎶
I also have an advice: just listen a lot to the musics you like (I mean a LOT) (and of course keep practising) good luck ! Listening is a great way to train when you don't have your guitar. ;)
Thanks! They are great! I'm actually not using an a real amp at all. I'm going direct into Pro Tools and using the Waves audio PRS V9 amp sim. - I use this for the guitar sounds on almost all of my tracks!
Thanks Michael! Glad you like the Jam Track and the turnaround 👍🎸🎶 glad you like my guitar solo too! What techniques are you using to build up your solo?
Great! Try mixing up the minor and major just a little . Such as , - bend or ‘crush’ from the G (m3rd) to a G# (maj3rd) . It’ll add a real bluesy vibe!
@@ausher I will thx I notice my licks get repetitive I know I need to leave more space between licks but when I get going I lose track of the chord changes any suggestions
@@michaelruggia476 Try out a few times around playing the notes of the chords, 'arpeggio'. So... E major = play E G# B - just slowly and in time. Then when you hear the chord change after 4 bars play the A major chord tones = A C# E .(2 bars) then back to E major for 2 bars. Finally B major (1 bar) then A major (1bar) and back to E for to finish the chord progression. E major = E G# B A major = A C# E B major = B D# F# Once you've got this down try adding in the 7th for each chord too: E7 = E G# B D A7 = A C# E G B7 = B D# F# A This should help you hear the changes and flow with the chord progression more naturally. This ain’t a joke! I broke both b and e at 4:04
After 10 minutes of soloing, it was nice to let you take over and play rhythm for a change. Just like when playing live. Great stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Much wanted long duration with great tonality to jam with.
