Hey developer here again. I am here to help you to make your device work for Alexa. I noticed that in your region Alexa is not supported so no need to worry you just have to change the region in the app and pair your watch again and it will work. Actually I am a Zepp developer and don't know that much about Xiaomi fit. In Zepp if your country is not supported you can change the country to US or India to make it work.

But the problem today is that 90% of Chinese manufacturers find themselves caught in their own game, that of value for money.
The prices of Xiaomi products have risen considerably, while their quality has not necessarily kept pace, and today, high-end smartwatches that cost $200-$300 3 years ago, cost the same if not less today, Huawei Watch Fit 2, Galaxy Watch 3, Huawei Gt2, Apple Watch 4/5 ....
Agreed. Similar with smartphones, although there the quality is in place, so are the innovations.
Still - Garmin and Fitbit charge tripled more than that for similar features.

I like the Redmi Watch 3 better, but definitely prefer the Zepp app
I had it just on release date.. 1 month ago .. using Iphone : I had some Alexa issue ( disconnected ) opening Mi Fitness solved it , some places on the menú I got "decelerations" , checked the HR on a Spinning class with a chest band and the Watch 3 and worked PERFECT same data!!

Other than side button, you can wake up screen with 'double tap' which is pretty cool. you can select this option in the watch settings

Active is a bit more basic.
i can't believe how smart watch tech seems to have been so stagnant if not even backwards for the last decade! I had the samsung watch 2 back in the day for the same price and id not only had and IR blaster and a camera but the same apps...
This architecture is different. And it is impressive how a basic Os (RTOS) can catch up with a lot more advanced one, such as WearOS and Tizen OS.
@@TechMishka I guess what I'm trying to convey here is that the tech has advanced like 5 years worth in a decade at least compared to smartphones 🤌🏼

They are recording about 18hrs behind. Sleep records me sleeping in the middle of the day. I will wake up at 7am and it will say I slept from 6:00am-14:00 or something. If I view it after maybe 4pm it says I didn’t sleep because it recorded it as the night before. If I view my steps/calories it records me walking around in the middle of the night. But the clock function displays the correct time. Standing function is recording at the correct time. There are a lot of reviews from various communities. Can you check it out?
Sounds like there is something not right with yours. Try to factory reset a d check again.

Garmin watches usually have more.precise GPS tracking.

Both will be fine. The Active is quite alright too
11:30 - correction: it can be woken up by a double tap or/and pointing the watch towards your face (both in settings and/or slide menu).

Pretty good device, that display looks great, shame no auto brightness. Interface seems very responsive and not lagging which is great. Wondering how the aod display looks like. Great to know it can do almost a week on a single charge. It's a good option for the price provided they update the app software support. Great review as usual
There are a few different AOD interfaces. Not as elegant as on Huawei, but very well readable in daytime. I'll be happy to share some photos - ping me via email or Instagram,.please.

I liked the Redmi device better - works smoother. The Amazfit is also a good one though.

Hi, can you pair this watch with Xiaomi Pay? I cannot see that function in the Device section of Mi Fit but per spec it has NFC

Hey, im looking to buy a smartwatch and I cannot decide between the Redmi watch 3, amazfit 4 mini and the honor watch 4 (redmi watch 4 is too big). I mostly care about daily use in a compact watch for my small wrist.

These are quite good. Redmi watch 3 doesn't have auto brightness feature, and it is for sure a very important one if you plan to use it more often.

It can, but if your hand moves, then it won't take the measure. It needs a out 30-40 seconds for taking a measure, this is why it works better at night.

Try to make a factory reset. Sounds like a software bug. It was quite fine when I use it, and I use WhatsApp a lot

It is comparable to Mi Band 7. And some of the features are better than the Mi Watch, because it is much newer
Mine is pretty much dead three months after purchase. Started with a green light that wouldnt go off, then a non responsive touch and a battery life of an hour at most

I have used watch 2 lite it was good for accuracy the faces aren't many but the watch did everything needed. I have used band 7 huawei but I think I may switch to watch 3. Watch 2 has the strap issue though its not very durable snd it was problematic to get strap so I got band 7. I hope they fixed that in the 3rd one.

You can try a factory reset first. GTR3 Pro is superior to Redmi Watch 3 in terms of features

Each one of the models that you mention is a good one. Think about the size and shape, and connectivity to your mobile. If you have an iphone using Amazfit makes better sense.
The watch is waterproof yet I don't see an option on the activities for swimming?

The price is close to a refurbished apple watch series 5 which is still good and has AOD
maybe someone wants new device and not refurbished and to not worry about their battery every day
@@smartbug1 Yes, just putting it out there that Apple Watch might be a better choice if someone is looking for more apps or better integration with apple devices. Also refurbished AW are like new with 100% battery health

You lose a lot of third party customizations and most of the time these apps don't stay open in the background in iOS so you get missed notifications as I've tried with mi bands/haylou/amazfit
@@jaspercas the only way to achieve 100% battery health is to report the battery, and doing that then the watch will not be water resistant anymore... Anyhow this is a Redmi watch (budget brand) and costs a lot less than a apple watch whether refurbished or not, and not a apple watch, therefore there is no need to compare to apple watches whatsoever.

Auto bright sensor what I have heard it make the battery last shorter bc it need to keep up if your moving to a shade to a suny area
Definitely better to have it as opposed to not, especially if you wear the watch at night.

Well... There is an option to put down reminders and tasks. Integration to your phone's calendar access is still pending.
