i can tell you right now that thermal sensor is NOT the marketed resolution. the overlay or base images maybe. but the thermal points. not so much. you can clearly see the blocking/pixilation of the orage spots.
Yes it's 256 x 192, but looks like it interpolates. Images are saved at the higher resolution. Pretty shady marketing, but still really good performance.
My experience with thermal.... the bigger the optic the better the thermal with all else being equal... the AGM has the bigger lense or optic... the fusion only work if there is light present.
I know you don't normally review phones, but mentioning its abilities as a phone would have helped. How well does it work in low signal? How good is call quality? Does it have 5G data? What bands does it support?
How can it be 1440x1080 thermal resolution when the specs mention it's using the Tiny1-C Sensor chip which is rated at 256×192 or am I missing something?
So you can get the phone whitelisted for you as an individual. All you need is to provide reason why this phone is the phone you need. A store manager can whitelist the phone for you at ATT or If you have verizon
The phone is not as tough as it seems I broke the screen twice already. I'm very disappointed. After changing the screen the screen the phone never functions properly. I am using it with the hairline crack in the middle. Problem with these phones you can't get parts right away and have to wait weeks. I'm almost tempted to buy a mainstream phone because of that problem. I bought a rugged phone thinking it will last but it doesn't. My BlackBerry never broke a screen.
Good Phone, I use it since week's. But: the infiray app have lot of issues, the Thermal camera don't compare to nightivision, and the Thermal infiray app don't get updated since year... The google play store reviews are horrible. And I bought this Phone because it had a thermal & night vision cam and is rugged. Before system update the phone crash frequently during boot process... After last update this problem looks mostly solved. With this wisdom now I would not buy this phone till this issues are fixed. I don't shure will I buy a phone from this company again. If the Doogee company fix the infiray issues, I may give this company a second chance. Because a year is long time, and till now nothing happened... And that's sad, because they could crush the market of they would make infiray app better and compare nightivision to Thermal app. There is no problem to compare normal camera to Thermal app,idk why Doogee wasting this unique selling point It's good water proof phone, have very good battery life, and no bloat ware like Xiaomi mi .

For the price point, this smartphone is more competitive than the AGM G2 Pro, which also has a 256 x 192 thermal infra red image sensor.

not a bad price for what you are getting. Side note Sensors for thermal and night vision cameras definitely need to be improved upon

interpolation.
could you explain which is better?
the infray tiny1c in this phone, also in 31gt
against the flir lepton 3.5 in ulefone 18t ultra ?
I'm looking at this as someone who spends a lot of time camping and backpacking. Thanks for the heads up.
Interesting concept by the the brand in the camera section. Besides, its Mediatek chip and the huge battery too sound interesting.
What a cool phone.THANK YOU.
I went ahead and bought the phone. Not happy as the thermal part stoped working as soon as I updated it. Bummer.
Doogee V20 Pro is packed with an AMOLED with a peak brightness of 500 nits and a Dimensity 700 SoC for quality performance and I am loving it!
Only 500 nits?
My 4 year old galaxy phone has 1300+ nits.. kinda worrying
I've heard great things about the Mediatek Dimensity 700 processor. Is it worth getting the Doogee V20 Pro just for the processor?
I'm waiting for the next generation thermal camera. The resolution is the same as my doogee s98 pro.
Hi man .. the heat detected is using IR sensor or heat sensor like FLIR
I can’t find any compatible networks. Whose are you using?
I couldn't either
Tool first phone. Very interesting.
Can you live stream to Facebook in night vision?

Why can't they?
@@bobsalita3417 att's ban on phones they don't sell and the different signals they use
Ah, it appears at&t whitelists (or is Doogee blacklisted).

酷! 干得好,我喜欢你的技术技能和+100业力好英语!🙃 👍
the side fingerprint is annoying if you are left-handed :(
Disappointing. I expected to see multiple drop and throw tests and a water plunge as well.
The only good thing about this phone is thermal imaging and you failed to demonstrate that because they paid you to promote this phone.

That's just a rip off of the old CAT S60/my old phone, I've had my current phone for 4 years and yes thermal camera's are so handy in daily life
I bought this phone and its main camera is just awful. Do not buy it.
i always give you dislikes keep going
