It's hilarious that Kevin Smith played Silent Bob. The two are direct opposites of each other. Bob never talks and Kevin never shuts up. I love this guy.

He makes movies that he wants to see, he doesn't put out a watered down version of his vision just so that it makes a little bit more money at the box office.
@O. M. Man I'm a 90s kid an he made some of my favourite comedies ever. I'll forever be thankful for the memories his movies gave me when watching them with friends. I still think Dogma is the greatest pure comedy ever. It's hard to make a comedy movie that's actually good without it being a drama with some comedic elements like Forrest Gump. Hands down the best "Web's most searched questions" ever. I love all the "behind the scenes" commentary he did. Most just give a quick answer and move on. Awesome job silent bob..
Been a fan of Kevin Smith since I was in Jr. High, and I'm almost 40 now, lol. My best friend's dad owned a video store as a side business and we used to see the screener tapes. Once we got the screener for Mallrats, we watched that movie like 3 times in a row that night.
I met this dude at the Honda center at a oilers at ducks game. Everyone was there for the playoffs. But this dude stopped, with nachos in hand and everything, and let everyone take a picture with him. Really cool down to earth dude.
Keven Smith man... Jay and Silent Bob have been on my screen since I was a kid, loved all the movies and characters. I'm glad he made it through his heart attack, to 25 more years, cheers

0:42 - 0:50 makes me lowkey screaming 🙌 I mean, seriously, who doesn't know Kevin Smith? he started Stan Lee cameos before Marvel. dammit, Kevin Smith, I am SO GLAD you're still alive! ♥️
My husband turned me onto his movies, he's chomping at the bit to share them with our teen but honestly the dialog is so rich & intense I think you need a little experience under your belt to truly appreciate the movies.
His personality and love for what he does, as well as his candid nature and ability to speak frankly about himself is super refreshing. He's been a huge inspiration to me in the same way Stan Lee was for him. Great guy. Just a fun personality.
the juxtaposition of kevin smith usually going into detail with each question and his character in ‘clerks’ not speaking more than about 15 words in the entire series
Knowing how Kevin Smith can be, I honestly expected this to be a 45-minute long video where he only got to one of the boards.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Am pretty sure there they had to remove a lot of footage, because he was speaking too much :)
BAHAHAHA right!?
There was some noticable hard cuts in there

He's fantastic!
Kevin Smith is one of few people who actually deserves to be famous just for being himself.
Because he uses who he is to entertain, even when he gets two lines. He would rather prop up Jay than any sort of shameless self promotion.
He makes movies that he wants to see, he doesn't put out a watered down version of his vision just so that it makes a little bit more money at the box office.
Abso-freaking-lutely
You are correct.
I remember when he protested his own movie, just because he thought it would be funny. and it was.
