Exactly. Even when gege mentions gojos title, he always says "strongest jujutsu sorcerer in the modern era." He put emphasis on gojo being the best only in his time. Gege was making it clear that gojo isn't that guy from the very beginning. People just dont like to pay attention to the innuendos thats being set up writers.
@@gemslion2966 Tbf Gojo is still that guy and would low diff pretty much every other sorcerer in history. Sakuno just feels closer to someone who transcended into a God than a sorcerer.
@@JR-wf5kg I know gojo is. I just mean that he isn't the strongest in the whole story, just as other people thought he was. Sukuna is the king of curses for a reason. There is no other person stronger than him when it comes to jujutsu sorcery. Gege makes this clear by establishing multiple times in the story that sukuna is the "most knowledgeable of curses". Gege is telling the reader straight up that sukuna understands the stories power system more than any other character. So of course he would be stronger than gojo, and of course he would go crazy with the binding vows.

@@Luffymynika11 Nah, you’d be surprised their were several people online up until the death chapter dropped convinced Gojo would come out fine. I think a powerscaler called Tylearned even posted a video saying Gojo’d win about a week before. Gojo’s death was certainly the logical story choice but for some it really contradicted their perception of the story.
